We have a winner!
Everyone`s a winner if you follow the sex god that is Erroll Brown.
2. Forget what I said above, I will offer this for the price of £105 delivered. If it doesn`t sell for this price I`m keeping the thing (how many times have we said this?) It includes all the manuals, software disc and mains lead.
3. These are ideal if you have a cheapo Stingray copy. A bloomin bargain at £18 posted.
4. Just completed a small sale with Cliff. Exc guy and great communication. Easy peasy! Thanks Gerry
5. I completed a swap with Mike today and it was a pleasure. Although he hadn`t spoke to me before, he kindly sent hs bass to me first so I could use the box to send mine back down to him. This is what basschat is all about. Cheers Mike
6. Could not agree more. Felix Papawhatisname, fantastic player.
7. Look I`m really desparate to sell this bass but I can`t be arsed getting a decent camera and taking some nice photo`s of the bass so you can at least see what your £1500 is actually buying. But if there is any intrest, I will take some photo`s
8. There is chords for the song on Ultimate guitar but I don`t know if they are correct but if they are you could fashion a bass line of your own from it? The main bit of the verse goes something like E - G - D but they are lots of fills in there. I would just play your own version as I doubt anyone would notice as it is not a well know track. Have fun! http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/m/mountain/nantucket_sleigh_ride_crd.htm
9. Looks nice Tom but it needs a black scratchplate

11. I got this bass and the 1st thing I did was lower the action and cut the nut as only I "Guitar repairer/bodger extradinare to the kingdom of Ebay" can acomplish this feat and get a wad of money more for ths piece of crap than I paid for it! All Kneel before me!!!!
12. Gusto. I`m afraid I`m gonna have to report you to our moderators as theres a 36 hour bumping rule about here me lado. Please read the T&C. They are about here somewhere.....
13. Guitarguitar has a black one in stock s/h for £429. I would say that £475 was a tad expensive. http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/bass_guitars_detail.asp?stock=px-B168LA3270
14. I`m not sure of the neck width on the Yam but there is no question which one I would go for and it`s the Yamaha every time. Seriously, you can`t go wrong with a Yam. I own an RBX 374 and it`s a good piece of kit. I have owned a couple of BB`s and got shot of them due to GAS but look at the positive views that have been said in this topic. Very few people have had bad experiances with Yamaha.
15.
Just picked up a Mexican version for £150. Used it today in rehearsal, superb loved it,fat STONKING sound, great feel, now part of the family. Happy Chappy :-)
You got a Mexican Mike Dirnt? That will be the Fender one? If it is that is the deal of the year as they usually go for £400+
16. The bass has been sold via Gumtree. Somebody missed a bargain.
17. Thanks to my wonderful, leggy sale assistant Mrs Discreet (Miss Knobbly Knees 1948) for the help in trying to shift this wonderful piece of bass equipment. Now somebody buy it.
18. Yep, a well talanted man is Andy. He plays some really melodic lines.
19. No not someone from the former Eastern Bloc before someone says it! I have a TC 2x10 cab that weighs 20kg. I was thinking, why not mount it on a pa tripod that is designed for speakers? Not too high, about chest height? You would have no booming due to a wooden stage, you would be able to hear it better and mabye it will carry the sound better? I realise this is likely a mental idea but hey ho!
20. I thought I would post this as 1 the playing on it is sublime, 2 that has to be one of the coolest looking Jazz basses ever and 3 what a set of mutton chops. The bass player is the late Bill Raffensperger. http://youtu.be/_3XFs2r_99E
21. Bit of a long shot this one. I have about 40 cassettes in a shoe box. 90% of them have recordngs from the now defunct Scot fm radio station, mostly late night talk shows with a guy called Steve Jack, mostly from the year 2000-2001. Basically all the nut jobs used to phone in and talk guff, argue, slag people off, sometimes people even talked sense!! The program started about 10pm so I would set the tape to record and fall asleep. They are quite funny some of them. There is also some Real radio football tapes from 2007/8 and some Scottie McClue. There is even some music tapes. Most have only been used once and could be used again no prob. The brands range from Sony, TDK, Maxell and some crap Bush ones. If anyone, preferable local wants them give me a shout. Someone may want them just to listen to or mabye you still use cassettes? These have now gone to the big cassette box in the sky.
22. This is now on it`s way to Mickey. Anyone else? Add your name please.
