  1. Your point regarding the TU 3 is spot on. I bought one when my Korg pitchblack met it`s end. When trying to tune my P bass, the thing was bouncing around and I was constantly adjusting the bass to get it to settle. I ended up selling it and getting another Pitchblack which isn`t so jumpy.
  2. I would buy @Lozz196 P Deluxe if it`s still available. I had one the same and it was a cracking bass. Plenty of grunt from the Noiseless J pickup especially with the active engaged. And a cracking price as well.
  3. It`s being made and sold in Japan. Frankly they can keep em there!

Sold Pete a bass, cool guy to deal with and no problems. Thanks mate!
  5. They are basically an updated Mexican Deluxe. Nice but as you say a Sire will be quite a bit cheaper with similar spec.
  6. I only know of Roger from reading Rick Wakeman`s books but he seemed like a nice guy and must have been a decent player to hang with Mr W. That band of his, The English rock ensemble liked a sherry or 2 as well. RIP Rog
  7. NOW SOLD Squier Mustang for sale only. Sold one of these last year and missed the wee guy so managed to pick this one up s/hand locally. I intended to have it as a living room noodle bass but it has sat in the corner un-played. Weight is 3.6 kg or 7.9 lb`s. Price is £250 shipped UK mainland only or £235 collected from me in Paisley, no trade thanks. 8. Right final price drop: £300 posted to UK mainland. These retail at £450 so a decent saving on a as new bass with brand new strings. And another YT clip to show just how good it is.
  9. The op hasn`t been on here since August 2020 so who knows. Why not click on their user name and send them a message? They might still be set up to get e mails through the site.
  10. Glad you got to the bottom of the problem. You deserve a better amp than a Stagg!
  11. £370 posted mainland UK, £350 collected. Someone buy this before I turn it into a L 1000 and (with my very limited skills) ruin a perfectly good bass
  12. I had one of their bodies and you are right re the ground wire hole, it could be doing with moving back a bit. Looking good.
  13. Great song and video with the legend and superfan that is Stuart Pearce.
  14. I had the exact same thing happen to a BG 250 15"inch combo a few years back. It was one of the first one`s and they had a bit of a rep for it. I didn`t even bother to get it sorted and one of my mates used it as a cab.
  15. Blatant plug but I have a as new RCF 715 in the for sale section.
  16. Guilty as charge me Lord! First gig, 2005 ish, was with a Ashdown MAG 300 combo with 15" speaker, P bass of some description. Next gig hopefully this year, Ashdown RM 500, 15" ABM Neo with Nate Mendel P. There has been loads of different gear in between and too much money spent but I`m basically back where I started...
  17. He ain`t heavy....he`s my Jazz bass! Well he is a bit on the porky side
  18. Here is a couple of pics of the new Schaller tuners. Damm fine looking
  19. NOW SOLD 2 Celestion Pulse 10" speakers for sale only. 200 watts, 8 ohms. Link to their website. https://celestion.com/product/pulse10/ Great condition, £30 each posted UK mainland only or collection from Paisley / local meet up. Comes in the original boxes.
  20. Recent purchases are a RM 500 EVO 2 to go with my old ABM Mini 2x10 retro fitted with 2 x 8 ohms speakers. But this morning I have bought one of those 15" ABM Neo`s from M P for £229 so I will be refitting the original speakers to the Mini to use both cabs together when req. And as I play with 2 Marshall valve numpty`s, it will be req! All I need now is some gigs
  21. In as new condition, only used a couple of times due to you know what, comes with the correct RCF padded cover which is £50 on it`s own. A real power house of a speaker, can be used for a FRFR guitar or bass speaker or as a normal pa or monitor. Plenty of power and a fancy bit of kit to deal with the sound as below "RCF speakers are designed using a proprietary and advanced FiR filtering technology, conceived to deliver transparent sound, absolute clarity and perfect stereo images to the listener. The special FiRPHASE filters allow to achieve coherent distribution of sound for all listeners without phase distortions, ensuring minimum latencies to the system." Collection from Paisley or local meet up preferred but I could look into postage if req.
