1. Hold on a bit. Never mind the bass. A girl singing in a Prog band???
2. Hey Donny. If you are fitting the Fender copy Wilkinson tuners, you might have to file the plates down a bit on a couple of them. I had to do this to the last 2 on mine.
3. I have a SR750 and it is a cracking bass. Cost me £735 ish. Better than any Fender I have played. Mine has Norstrand designed pickups and they are fantastic so I imagine the Norstrand made ones on the SR1300 will be better. But it`s true about the 2nd hand value of Ibbys. Have you had a look at Cort basses? They manufacture most of the Ibanez basses and are very good value.
4. Sounds like the nut might not be cut properly? I would take it back and tell them to be honest, especially as it`s new. Nice looker by the way. lovely looking Cort as well. How good is it? Thinking of buying a 5 string one.
5. Radiophonic says: The Nate Mendel seems particularly pointless - just an annoying amount of fake damage that you only notice if you look a bit? I'd still have one, but I'd want the body sprayed black! And thats what I have done. I was sick of the red colour, so I sprayed it satin black as I was looking for a black P bass. It sounds much better as well
6. If you like the RW, I would get the J pickup added to it. It is a good looking mod on a P bass. I have 2 P/J basses and they are my current favourites.
7. Only 100 of your British pounds for this natty wee cab!!
8. You have got me worried now. I bought a TE AH 600, 7 band eq, made in the US, brand new last year. Are they deemed as unreliable?
9. Is there a big demand for an amp this size? And at Sweetwater the original price was $1399, so $1100 off? Designed in the UK and USA, made in China. Oh how the mighty have fallen
10. I bet that is going to cost quite a few shekels. Looks good though.
11. Stick an advert on Gumtree, then be prepared for all the replies from people that just waste your time. These places are full of dreamers and bedroom players but unfortunately sometimes it is the only way to meet people and you may be lucky.
12. I have a Trace Elliot 600 watt amp so thats like 1200 ordinary watts then I like the look and the sound of the amp, the power doesn`t mean much. It has green lights on the front panel as well!!
13. They are an older model. I had one a few years ago and it was ok but not as good as a VM or Classic Vibe but they are a good bit more expensive second hand. Do you like the sound and the feel of it? For £120 it could be a bargain.
14. It wasn`t really a Cliff bassline originally. It was played by on the record by Mark Evans or George Young depending whose story you believe. But Cliff is/was the man. To the op. The best version is on the Let there be rock film from Paris in 79 imo. I play in a dc covers band and we always start with it and as it starts with the bass, I love it! The most important thing as said above, is to lock in with the drums. Phil Rudd and Cliff are tighter than a nats chaf. Don`t add it too much either, they are simple lines, played very well. The amount of guys on Ya Tube I see adding in fills where there never was any Good luck!!

16. I had a VM 77 in black, added some Schaller tuners, Jazz knobs and it looked and sounded rather good. So why did I sell it? GAS!!
17.
Do you/He actually think that about Jazz.? Jazz is way bigger than what he's talking about.
Oh yeah, I think he does. Have you heard what he says about Ned Sheeran? Still if you watch all the videos with the fan in it, he gives the guy pelters for wearing a black shirt, so I imagine that on our sister site, Shirtchat, there will be a discussion on his dislike of black shirts Or maybe not....
18. I like Noel. He is one of the few honest guys left in the music industry. Says what he thinks and doesnt give a monkeys what you or I think about it. Jazz ain`t really my bag but some of the Quincy Jones stuff is fantastic. However, I have heard the type of Jazz music that he describes in the video and he is spot on.
19.
Very adjustable, but a complete pain to set up. I'd go for the Schaller 3D design over this provided that it offers enough adjustment for you needs.
Looks a quality piece of kit. https://www.thomann.de/gb/schaller_3d4_c.htm
20. I used a TC 210 with a Ashdown Mag head for a year or so and it was a nice combination. I looked at the Peavey when it came out but as you say, there is very little info about them.
21.
Theres a 500w Ashdown ABM in the classifieds for £200 that Im tempted by, but unsure of a cab that would suit RE wattage, ohms, etc. As i say, Im lacking any clue as to what Im doing.
Perfect for all your gigging needs if you like the Ashdown sound. Any decent cab with around 400 watts at 8 ohms will be fine.
