Managed to get to see NWR with Dylan Howe and Wilko Johnson at Yardbirds in Grimsby quite a few years ago now. He was absolutely on it the whole gig - tight as anything all of them.....🤘🤘Happy days......
Their album called The Wedge is a belter too.......those were my main two, as my younger brother was into them and had both of them back in the day.......
Not sure who the singer was - I'll have to dig the ticket stub out and see who was in the line-up at the time.
Have currently got The Sentinel in heavy rotation in the car CD player.....
One of the first live bands I ever saw was Pallas! At the Sub in Cleethorpes it was - still got the ticket stub somewhere! It was hearing the thunderous Ricky tones from Graeme Murray that got me into dreaming about getting one......😁🤘
It gets mentioned in quite a few of the music 'history' books I read (musicians autobiographies etc) - one of the places I'd love to visit. One of my mates bands plays at the Hope and Anchor from time to time though......🤘
Nice looking board. Would be interested to hear how you get on with the HB power plant - looks like a good buy for those of us who are careful with our gear and don't just throw in the back of a van six nights a week.....😉👍
Kala do a solid body 5 string electric uke bass (bit jazz/precision looking) for about £300. Scale length of 23.5".
I've not played one myself, but I do play Kala acoustic ukes and they sound immense when amplified!
Our guitarist uses the same system, and has had no problems at all with interference so far. We have played on a couple of large stage setups outdoors last year, and had no issues 😁👍
