I'm learning tapping atm in my lesson and finding that I'm prone to cramp while I'm building my stength up. I'm doing a good 20 min warm up but it's just building up the strength required for tap at the mo so keep getting it.
Does anyone have any advice or tips? Is it best to play through it or rest?
I've got mine insured through... uh... oh god I've forgotten! Norwich Union? Aviva? Feck. Either way it was really cheap and I got free DNA tracing stuff. Bargain

Oi!

Ah good point! Bum.
I haven't got any of the parts, but I have 2 sets of flatwound strings donated to me by bottomendian, failing that I'd happily chuck a tenner in towards the cost of repairing it.
I would hope there aren't too many on here who honestly believe their clever use of a pentatonic minor scale will stop the war in Afganistan... but you never know!?
Maybe not, but apparently Osama bin Laden is quite a fan of Chromatics.
All I want to achieve is
To be able to play well enough that I'm happy with my standard
To be able to write creatively
To be able to use a variety of techniques and be decent at them
To continually learn
To continually LOVE playing
To write music that others will enjoy and to be able to play live, even if I don't make money from it.
I'm not into bass for fame and fortune. I play bass because I LOVE to play bass.

Short, sweet and not particularly exciting, but one of my favourite little bass intros ever

Not saying that... just mainly that he's missing an opportunity to beat his skins... much unlike 99% of the male population I've met thus far
Wait... that makes me sound like a whore
The double bass is a member of the violin family. The bass guitar isn't.
True, but then what about fretless basses... they're more like double basses!
