2.
About which, the power supply or the insurance?
The insurance mostly! lol speaking of which just got a quote from allianz.. £47 a year for £1700 worth of gear inc in unattended vehicles.... seems pretty reasonable!
 3.
Hey thats a dead cheap power supply, dunno what you are worrying about, them Diago ones are £70 withoput any newfangled super duper leads to get 18v or whatever. PIA or what! I insured my and Plux's kit for the first time this year, now that did make me sit down with a bump! Came to over £250 !!
You're kidding!
 4. It is getting to the point actually where I'm considering getting my gear insured. My basses alone are approaching the £1000 mark to replace nd my home contents doesn't cover accidental damage or travel outside the home etc....... :\
 5.
Still cheaper than some hobbies. It's low cost compared to when I was biking. I spent £170 on a pair of gloves once!
HOW MUCH??
 6.
£28?! Holy scha-moly. Have Boss upped their game in the power-supply world? Or is it the ol' PSA-240? I've had decent results with supplies from Argos or Maplin (£10 tops), and if I was going to spend £20-odd, I'd go for the 1-Spot combo package so I could power a bunch of pedals from one supply. Sorry, Sarah. Don't mean to piss on your chips. Have fun at your audition!
Yup, that's the one I know what you mean though. I nearly fell over when he told me how much it was.
 7.
Could be worse - suppose you'd taken up collecting Faberge eggs instead.
I have *some* taste you know

 9. I nip into local guitar shop for 'a few little bits' and end up spending £47. And they didn't even have 5 string strings in, so it would've been even worse!! Anybody fancy lending me a tenner?
 10. It's just a matter of practice. It's strange at first and you're going to be prone to mistakes and hitting the wrong strings but after a while you'll just adapt. I play 5 string and wouldn't be without it, but can easily switch to a 4 if need be.

 20. Knew where you're coming from. I've played for 8/9 years from ear and just worked out myself what sounded good. I am now, however, starting to learn theory in order for me to get out of a rut I'm in, and I want to do my grades. You don't need theory to be a good player, but as my tutor says, theory will just enhance your playing further.
 21. The easiest was to learn I found was to play stuff I already knew, but transposing some of the notes onto the B instead of the E for example. Drop D you wouldn't need to retune for so if you start playing drop D songs just using the bottom strings instead of downtuning. Eventually it'll just click and if you're anything like me, you won't go back to a 4!
