1.
Hmmm... how big is this? I'm looking for something that would fit under my Pedaltrain Nano...
Here's the specs chap The VITOOS DC8 is the flagship model power supply for effect pedals, with 6 outlets at 9 volts and 2 voltage-adjustable outlets. It is specially designed for those guitarists who have few pedals with different voltage requirements. If you own some pedals using 18v and you may use them at the same time with your other pedals running at 12v and 9v, or even if you want to get more dynamic and sparkle sound at some pedals can be originally running between 5v and 18v just like some Full tone pedals, DC8 is just your choice. (Not all pedals can be used with 12v or 18v, make sure you read through the manual, any damage because of the incorrect connection will not be warranted) The DC8 will drive 8 pedals from the same source, it’s more than a power supply, it’s a power conditioner which supplies a predictable voltage all the time and keeps your pedals in constant performance from one show to another. Features: Powers six 9v pedals and two adjustable 9v,12v , 18v all at once without losing any signal intensity. 2) Comes with 8 DC cables to connect your pedals to the DC8. 3) Isolated outputs from each power section and Short Circuit Protection ensures a stable working condition. 4) The LEDs of each 9v OUTLET will light in red to indicate the short-circuited pedal without cutting off other outlets’ power. 5) FCLC (Fold back Current Limiting Circuit) provides ultimate protection against power shortages and overloads. Even at full load, you’ll enjoy the quiet and cool operation of a fully regulated power supply. 6) All ROHS components inside which are stored in a portable, robust and occlusive metal case. 7) Customized DC jacks with long time working life up to 50,000 Times Pull and Plug. 8) Dual color LED, green for power indication and red for short-circuited pedal caution. Specifications: AC to DC adaptor : INPUT: AC 100v~240v at 50/60Hz, 2000mA. 2. On Gumtree but happy to take offers here within reason.
 3.
This is the power supply on the pedal board, with everything powered. Need to retidy the power cables as I have moved stuff around The AA battery doesn't live there, it is just for scale
Arrived this morning, I've had 5 minutes to plug in and test it. So far it seems that the Digitech and other pedals are playing nicely together! Great! Oh and for once, the unit seems smaller than the advertised picture online! Much appreciated WoodInBlack!
 4.
@ Sean - cheers for all of that interesting and helpful feedback and I love the description of the MB as an "alcohol free beer". In other words something that can have great taste and quench your thirst on a warm summer's day, but leave you able to get into your car and drive safely home after, right? Anyway hopefully I've paid you back by saving you £25 on the Donner instead of the Fender micro DI, I guess you're going to spend the saving on a couple of six packs (with alcohol) and a curry? Enjoy... I'll get back on topic now, too! The TC Nova does look good: it covers the six major effects groups: compression, EQ, Noise Gate, Modulation, Pitch, Delay and Reverb all programmable and storable in 60 user presets (vs 150 user presets on the Zoom B3n) AND combined with an ANALOGUE drive unit which is really cool. It seems to be at its best with "one preset per song", whereas I quite like being able to layer in effects during certain songs and the Zoom's triple banking of effects really assists with this. The TC is still double the price of the Zoom B3n although it is now 8 year old tech - goodness knows how much it was when it was launched then?! https://www.anderton...nic-nova-system PS how good are you at impressions and why Michael Caine?
The next logical step I think would be the TC Electronic G-System http://www.tcelectronic.com/g-system/ Which like the Nova contains studio grade effects (which TC are well known for) but i think will offer the access you are after. Frequent 'in song' patch changing and access to the effects within a patch quickly. It is a stunning unit.
 5. It's a cabinet that I would love to hear in person and would probably drop cash on after the fact. I have an HD112 thus am looking to pair it with another. Maybe I have some weird OCD!
 6. The MU's own Insurance will cover you around the world and you get £2000 worth for free just by signing up.
 7. PMing for first dibs possibly
 8.
Man, if there was a 5 string version of this, I'd be all over it.
It Djents. lol
 9. I'm going to order one of Dave's awesome IEM cables soon as I like to have my IEMs hardwired but would rather not have more than one cable coming from my instrument. A perfect solution. Oh and I WILL get the pictures above back up again!
 10.
All this talk of hypnotic bass lines, I have to post this one. One note bass line and it's almost perfect. If Clive from Lowestoft is reading this (Sorry chap I can't remember your BC ID) then a knowing nod will be the response. Brad - 20th Century (Stone Gossard on Guitar)
Oh and check the PP bass!

 12.
this is a comparison between the sizes. Seems like most tuners on ibanez are the same size (if not all gotohs)
The open gear looks really nice too. I've got a set of Gotoh's 'lightweight offering' on my Shuker 7 string. They are the same shape as the models on your bass but a wee bit lighter: http://g-gotoh.com/international/product/gb350.html
 13.
This sort of design works well, had many years of service from one of these until a pot hole in the dark buckled the axle an they fold up pretty well so dont take up acres of space in the car. Dont be tempted to get a lightweight one where the wheels fold inward for 'flatpacking'. They dont have the strength or durability for serious cab shifting.
Yup, I have one like this - £18 on eBay if I recall. Brilliant for piling up lightweight gear, but I'm not happy sticking 90Kg on it. 40Kg is more like my largest payload, which is enough for my cabinets, amp and case of leads for sure.
 14. Due to the thoroughly underwhelming demand for such a fine instrument I may as well withdraw it from BassChat. Over £1000 off the price of a new one! You can't give stuff away sometimes! ha!
 15. Well, I've stuck it up on Gumtree. Amazed there has been no interest here.
 16. Wow! Didn't hang around! Not surprisingly!
 17.
I think where the MS-3 will live or die for me (i.e. make me sell my Line6 M5), is whether you can clean mix the overdrives/fuzzes (I assume you can, big omission from the Line6 firmware). Then it's about the strength of the pitch stuff, I've never quite gotten on with Boss' algorithms, had a PS-6 and it just didn't do it for me. The Line6 M series on the other hand probably has the best pitch up and down ability i've ever heard. Looking forward to AB'ing them, should have the MS-3 in a week or two I think. Si
Exactly that. Looking forward to hear what you think!
 18.
As I noted on the B3n thread - that Donner micro DI pedal isn't for me! One of my shorter lived pedals: adds an annoying high pitched squeal to the signal (particularly noticeable when the cab sim switch is set to the right) which I can't be doing with! Will be going back via Amazon shortly methinks Be interesting to see if you get the same result when yours arrives, Sean?
The fender version I have doesn't squeal. I suspect it might be because the Donner model isn't truly the same as the Mooer model it looks like, often containing inferior components and build quality to get the price down I'm afraid.
 19.
Well - the A3s arrived and it was straight upstairs to try them with some audio - my word! It's like seeing an Imax cinema screen after watching a black and white TV. I can hear things in a mix that were just background noise before - bass lines pop out and become easy to distinguish, vocals sit pretty much in the front of the mix too. I really can't wait to try these at a rehearsal soon. Worth every single penny. I never had a problem with the fit of the 215s and the generic olives but these are something else. The Custom IEM Co turned the order around inside 2 weeks too. I've back to back tested them with my 215s and I'm not even sure I want to use those for audio either - I feel very spoiled!
Congratulations! I just wanted to chime in and say that this is exactly how I have described my own IEMs. The subs in the low end are a wonderful thing. I also really love the detail of music and how connecting it feels with a great set of IEMs vs generic buds. Yes, some buds are great, but a custom set of quality IEMs is a huge leap up.
 20.
I also like the Ibanez truss rod hatch design. I think really though all basses should switch to the truss rod wheel design. Makes adjusting that little bit easier and you don't need the correct size key, plus no cover is needed.
A resounding yes!
 21. There is a similar model on eBay at the moment described as worn for £987 +VAT +Customs +Handling Charges. This is therefore, as I plan, a daft price for a quick sale.
 22.
RG621XW adopts the flow of the previous SRG-EX1, ash body, adopting the winged fingerboard model. This time we installed a Gotoh locking type peg, making possible a tighter sound makeup. The distinctive DNF (Dark Night Frost) finish which is characterized by white top and back black is also a brilliant image.
23. *** Every model is unique because the wood grain on the tops vary so much! (This is a library picture, proper photos to come if there is interest) I had to import this one myself as they are not for sale over in European shops. This is an absolute top of the range and very cool electric guitar; yet another item I am very sad to be letting go. I'll do some really good pictures when I'm out in the sun, but for now here's the specifications:
neck type:1pc Hard Maple neck

body:Ash

fretboard : Wenge

bridge:Gibraltar Standard II

neck pickup:Quantam(H) neck

Bridge pickup:Quantam(H) bridge

hardware color:Black

strings:.010~.046 Round Wound(D'Addario EXL110)

Factory tuning:1D,2A,3F,4C,5G,6C

As you can see, these guitars are designed for tuning down but sound even better than a normal equivalent guitar when up in standard tuning! (I've been using it in both with no trouble at all. The neck really is rock solid, as you'd expect from such a guitar.)

Shipping is possible and will be extra on top to be covered by buyer. Collection is a much better choice!
