1.
Oh the usual, a bitterly fought divorce settlement, probably cost twice as much in lawyers fees sorting out visiting rights
I ought to save a couple from that!! - It looks like I'll have to withdraw it from BassChat, a few interest people but no solid offers.
 2.
..... {snip} What you think?
I'm taking this a possible step further, leave it with me as I have been working on an idea for the last few months and this thread has had me thinking I may return to it. I've found a few things online today that have my interest!
 3.
You probably know that I have this system with the T1s. It's really good - however, I still think that the actual inears are somewhat lacking for bass players. Their ethos is not to include the double low... and in reality, as a bass player, we really need the headroom in that department. So I have to say, I always find my ACS a little disappointing in that department. As for the microphones - again, good - as long as you are not in a loud band. Even with the pad engaged on the ambient pack, if the SPL in your environment is too loud, the inears will massively distort.
I'll come back to the rest of the post later as I must dash, but I wanted to ask if you have tried the 5 driver system as well as the T1? Also intrigued about the distortion. I'm looking online for other reviews with the issue. Would you know where would be a good place to find feedback regarding the Live! system?
 4. Just a quick question, have you tried an entirely different power supply for the wireless receiver? Many users of certain wireless systems have had to use isolated power supplies (especially with other effects pedals daisy chained in) because of "digital noise" making it's way to the amplifier.
 5.
I still wantttt this. Need the Thumb sold before I can consider it further! How does the maple compare to wenge, the obvious? I.e. Brighter, snappier

Kev, think you're based in the Leamington area like me, maybe we could go halves? 😀
Time share sounds pretty good!
 6. As seen here: https://www.acscustom.com/uk/products/in-ear-monitors/live-series Would like to hear from users of the system please! Reviews and any thoughts. That would also include users of the T1, T2 and T3 Live! Systems too.

 8.
If I wait a few days it will be free! Joking aside I had a play with this the other day and it's a great piece of kit. The flight case also has room for additional pedals to be routed in and switched from the main board. Very very nice and you will not be disappointed!
Thank you Andy! Awesome! Please share with band mates, especially Guitarists as this unit will take care of effects, switching of external pedals, preamp and amplifier channels and external MIDI control. Dedicated floor board, or use as a separate rack unit to hold all the pedals and have just the controller on the floor. Silly money for an as new top notch effects unit made for the road. (This is no toy!!) PM me re: price, I have to sell, so will discuss, especially as I'd rather have this collected.
 9.
I use one with my jamman express. I needed a small/cheap looper that syncs to midi for the start of my chain, and this was the only solution I could find. Makes the jamman lime actually useable for me (just imo).
The problem I had was that I really wanted to mount all of my pedals in a rack and still have access to even basic looping functionality. My board at my feet being a MIDI controller of sorts meant that I'd still have a looper out in front of me completely negating the plan to have less cables running around my feet. Maybe this would have been the solution. All of the gigs I've played recently have been possible without a pedal board but in the future I'll get something together; if the looper is on the board then I expect I'll be looking at the SyncMan too!
 10.
If it's one of the jamman that uses jamsync, there's a box you can buy called a syncman that will sync it up to midi.
Whaaaaaa? I had no idea! I have the XT solo with the sync connectors. I must go check this out! THANKS!
 11.
JamMan Stereo... It does, it only bloody does! I'm on it, Cheers!
Yessssssssssssssssssssss! That's great. I started questioning my memory afterward, so I am very pleased we have a result!
 12. I enjoyed that way more than I was expecting! What a great way to take boring ole slap bass! It has given me some great ideas (sadly not including a 12 string bass... yet!)
 13.
I can't comment on the HDNs but recently started to use a HD 210 as part of a heavy-weight system (following years of lightweight gear, I came round to thinking that there's something missing, especially in commercial class D - just my opinion of course, and based on my own needs and preferences). The Berg cab was a complete revelation. Miles away from anything that I'd used previously (and I've had some very high cabs and drivers). Beautifully constructed, tonally magnificent - clear, transparent, fast, punchy and deep - and if it matters, aesthetically very pleasing. I can't imagine that any of Berg's cabs involve much in the way of compromise. I'd love to try this HDN but I know that I'd just have to have it!
Thank you Three! I can only agree. There's not a Berg I've tried that I didn't like and this one is no different. This one is pending sale now, off to a new home soon.
 14.
Great stuff, I'll have a look into that. If I can keep it simple, just feet and fingers, I'm all over it. I know it works for some and the results are more controllable, but I don't want to be relying on software and faffing about. I want it to be simple, so we can just play, but obviously I'd like us to be in synch. Many thanks!
I'm pretty sure there will be other possibilities too and expect that somewhere out there will be something that will fit the bill perfectly
 15.
Thanks Dan! I feared that would be the case, and I don't think I can be bothered with that. I do have an interface with which I use Cubase, but I can't see me ever taking that kind of setup to a gig. I was hoping that a click output was a feature I'd missed when browsing for loopers, then a little mixer to split it. Ah well, back to the drawing board.
Fear not, I mean the Digitech loopers do have a click track on board and I think the Stereo Looper they do will allow you to send a click to a separate output. I'm pretty sure of that anyway!!
 16. I think the laptop or iPad route could be a good one. It's possible to set up a DAW as a looper and make use of all the effects and time keeping functionality. Here's an example that comes to mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2793YThvhlM You could use a fairly basic MIDI controller to start, stop, undo etc. Ok, so it will mean you'd need an interface too, but pick the right one and you can start sending FOH mixes and separate headphone mixes to band members. On the subject of interfaces, I really love my Focusrite Clarett as it comes with a remote control app for my phone or iPad that can also adjust levels for IEMs etc. very cool.
 17. £575 for collection. Will throw in patch leads as an added extra too.
 18.
You'll need some 100mm or 125mm diameter casters, with rubber wheels (don't get polypropylene wheels, they are too hard). Most come with a 4 x screw baseplate attachment. A quick search on ebay should come up with plenty. I just ordered these today ...... http://www.ebay.co.u...K%3AMEBIDX%3AIT The 125mm ones are bigger and heavier, but will be significantly smoother on rough car parks etc.
I saw the thread title and was about to type exactly this. I've bought lots of 100mm rubber wheels for a number of different cabinets and I would say they have been SO helpful, especially as my own back isn't so great either!
 19. Will have a think about trade offers +cash my way.
 20. Serves me right for copying from the website ha ha ha ha!!! This is what the white text you can't see above says: HDN212 ‘High Definition Neo’ Series 2-12″ & Tweeter Bass Guitar Loudspeaker The Bergantino Audio Systems HDN (High Definition Neo) series lightweight speaker cabinets retain the great Bergantino Audio sound and give you the weight savings but not at the expense of tone and performance. The precision tuned cabinet architecture and the enclosures are built with the highest quality lightweight Italian poplar plywood (with Baltic birch baffle boards) selected to our demanding specifications. Fretless and upright players will often prefer the HDN cabinets because of how the midrange ‘speaks’ with their instruments. The HDN series cabinets have a new design high intelligibility tweeter mated to the woofers through a custom designed phase-coherent crossover with a tweeter control. 22. I've been really happy with my Bergantino B|Amp that again came out with me last night and delivered the proverbial goods at a gig. I guess I'm just intrigued and would like to know what people who own the HD212 thought about 'em. (Other than of course being heavier than the HDN and CN equivalents!)
 23.
Wow... they really brought the price down, damn. Dood, I think the eq. is flat when the faders are in the center of their travel. But of course the "flat" on this amp always has to do with how it's been engineered and built... so sounds different from my Warwick ProTube in flat.
Indeed, I suppose that's what I was wondering, thank you for the reply. I can handle 'the inherent tone of the electronics used' but I was keen to find out if Ashdown's well known pre-shape was 'on all the time' in the design, if you see what I mean. Really no bad thing mind, only to find out of that is part of the amplifier's design itself. I liked that on the R800 you can defeat the pre-shape should you need to.
 24. One thing I never found out about these: Is the ;Ashdown 'preshape' baked in to these even if the EQ is set flat, or is it that the amplifier has a flat sound throughout the chain until you tweak the EQ? Would love to know.
 25. Looking to sell this one on. £600, as new condition. Collect for a better deal.
