1.
The best way to do it is to use a program like TuxGuitar to write a MIDI drum part, then export it as a MIDI file and import it into whatever DAW you're using to host Superior.
I'd say it'd probably be better just to write the parts in the DAW you are hosting Superior in. For those who prefer to 'draw it in' then use the Piano Roll function. The ones in Cubase, Reaper or Logic Pro to name three are dead easy. Reaper is my favourite.. And you can also loop small sections as you write them in the DAW. I'm just not sure how it'd be easier to use an external guitar editor?
2. How about a whole host of simple to use compressors in one box? The TC Electronic Nova Dynamics pedal enables you to do full band, multiband (3 bands), parallel compression and noisegating functions over two pedals in one box that can be configured in any number of ways. For the money, it's easily one of the best IMHO. I think it's better than the EBS Multicomp (true bypass version).
3. I haven't exported from Reaper for a while now, but i think i just made a short video, then went through all the settings, exprting in turn to see which worked best. Set it to equal the input resolution and it doesnt hurt to keep the frame rate high i have found when i slap it on youtube, but as Mike says, the HD resolutions should work.
4. Head + Rack mount kit + uk delivery £300!
5. PM me for details or reply here and I'll get back to you as soon as, including pics!
6. Hi all! So, I decided to change my 'gig bag' sized amp.. A minor bought of G.A.S I might add. I've grabbed a GK MB800 for when I need to travel ultra light. This therefore means, my 'project' Markbass F1 is now up for sale. It's going cheap because (as you'll see in the pics) it doesnt have the normal front panel! Some time ago I was planning on putting some cool graphics on the front. The front faceplate simply pops off with two screws, so I prepped it ready in black and refitted it. That is unfortunately as far as I got! The other reason why the amp is going so cheap is that it's a US model that has been set up for UK voltage. (This entails the simple adjustment of two jumpers inside, no tools required. I've posted about how to do this on BC in the past. ) a different size fuse is also required and has been fitted. I have written on the label on the side of the amp detailing the changes. I'm asking for £300 for the amp which includes the ridiculously extortionate RRP'd rack mounting kit. I don't have a spare power cable, but these are so cheap anyway, i won't charge extra for me going out to buy one). So here's some pics! {edit} pictures added below!
7. Congrats! - Jon's basses are stunning, amazing, beautiful and equalling the very best on the market without the ridiculous prices. You're gonna love this bass!!! I think the third pickup idea is a really cool one! Good idea!
8.
That looks so sexy and i bet that neck is ultra fast!
Yes and Yes matey!
9. Cheers alstocko! - It plays so nicely too. Comfy!
10. Good point! I did miss that in the description. It's possible to have one of each of the three pickups, or all on at the same time!
11. Hopefully these pics will show off the finish. It's rather rich!
12. I wish my camera was better! Can you see that patterning on the fretboard??!! Nice!

14. It's pretty funny isn't it John! It has to be mentioned that both this one and the very fine 4 string version in John's ad' are the sought after USA versions. I'll be honest, I very nearly started looking for the money for this myself! - but I remembered that it was a 6er I was looking for! It's actually the first time I've played a USA model with the Piezo pickups on too. I think I'm converted!!!! WOW!!! - Mixed together with the magnetic pickups it really seems to add a fatness and organic character to the sound. Best of both worlds right?

16. Hi everyone! Well, here's an interesting turn up! Recently I have been working at a rather prestigious venue with a team of musicians. One of our new friends who comes to help is a bass player. This is his rather fabulous and absolutely spotless Parker Fly Bass that he would like to sell. He said to me that he doesn't feel that he'd do it justice - but I think he's a rather cool bass player actually. A really lovely guy! - Anyway, he has asked if I knew of a good place he could advertise it for sale! Not surprisingly my answer was yes, I know just the place. I've agreed to sell it for him as a friend, so hopefully he'll be ok with my advertising skills! I'll get the pictures in first then attempt to take all the information from the 'Preliminary Owners Manual' and get it here for you to see. This instrument is spotless! The detail? Sexy! The price for this fine example is £1200, including the official very well padded Parker Fly gig bag. I don't really want to ship the instrument, however I could arrange to meet 'halfway' within reason to complete a purchase. (for Fuel, Coffee, Cake) It's not my bass and will be directed by my friend on how he'd like to send the instrument to it's new home. We can discuss price/OFFERS and I will send enquires direct to him. You are more than welcome of course to shoot me questions about the Bass! Ok, so Spec:
17. Well, having compared the official specs between the two - there's a great deal from the 1006 that made it's way to the 36. I mean, I can't really see how the 1006 could have been 4 grand more than the 36 by viewing only. I have to say, it's a great bass. There's going to be very little I'm going to change (if at all). The 36 has medium frets, but having reviewed the Dingwall Afterburner 6 in iGuitar with banjo/mandolin sized frets, I'd really love to play the 1006 (with the same) to see how it compares. The Dingwall was a stunning instrument! You should be able to order the 36 through PMT as they carry a lot of Ibanez stock.
18. FYI: The GK MB800 fusion is set to be out first quarter 2013, but probably better to expect that early second quarter.
19.
Ooh I like updates. How will that work... or are we talking about a new model?
Yup, it's a new model in the same shell with a new display i believe.
20. <<<<<< It's the 'Predator' in me!!!
21.
Loved your review Dood! Very tempted to nab one myself, and an Ibanez GVB36 haha!
The GVB36 is a fantastic Bass! I'm loving it! I wanted to review one in iGuitar, maybe now that they are finding their way in to the UK, we'll have a chance. Interestingly, I snapped up one of the only three in the country currently. People in the right places, ya see! ;0)
