  1. Which is probably why manufacturers have creative marketing departments to sell their equipment: 15" speakers sound deeper than 12" speakers because they are bigger. Valve watts are louder. PMPO! Tonewood speaker cabinets. 1000W RMS is louder than 800W RMS... This amp goes to 11... It must be pretty tough for a manufacturer to break the mould and actually give an honest answer knowing so many people will come back to them in contention spouting what they have heard for years before.

  3. Well, everyone has their own view, that's cool. My feelings are that I would disagree. Sometimes he is to the point but I don't think it's arrogance. He does know his sh*t though, that's for sure.
  4. I like all the guys mentioned above. For non-bass material I've watched quite a few of Aimee Nolte's videos and they are pretty engaging. One to check out who isn't on this thread yet is Adam Neely. https://www.youtube.com/user/havic5 - I'm always in danger of sitting there watching video after video. I enjoy the content, his way of explaining things and his balance between easy-to-understand theory and mind boggling detail!
  5. Wow! What are the chances of that! I’m so pleased to have these catalogues translated! Thank you for confirming! oh I agree, Basswood can actually be a great tonewood. There’s good and lesser quality examples (for musicial instruments) in both that and Alder. Ahhh yes, I love these catalogues too. Somewhere in this house I have a few 80’s / 90’s gear catalogues. I find it interesting that at the time they were just catalogues, but now they’re quite sought after - like now for example!
  6. It's on MySongBook for Guitar Pro so you can play along with it.
  7. Maybe I should start a service where people can send new goods to me and I will repackaged them to look secondhand then ship them out to their destination.
  8. I think I might finally buy the Line6 pedal wireless and one of these at the same time.
  9. I don't think I see "potential problems" when Line 6 have managed to squeeze such an incredible amount in to one tiny box. There's got to be some end to the brilliance somewhere lol.
  10. I am actually hoping I can. I'm having weird problems with my BC experience! I'm actually using a different browser now in the hope that it stops bugging me lol..
  11. 😍🤩
  12. Andy Murray.. apparently he likes to jam along pretending his tennis racket is a guitar 😂
  13. HX Stomp does have a stereo loop (Stereo Send) Ok, only one loop but it does appear the returns can be configured as AUX Ins etc too. I believe the stomp does also do scenes as well according to the Andertons video. That aside, I am still asking myself which would be better, HX Effects or HX Stomp ..... I really don't NEED either as I have LT.. but having a super small fly rig does have it's advantages!
  14. @charic This is what I meant. Everyone else, ignore this post.
  15. I certainly do, but when I look around there wasn't anybody there. Probably need a bit more than counselling here lol..
  16. How many individuals need to be held responsible before the "organisation" fails a customer?
  17. 😂😂😂😂 It has been a very long working week. I’ve been doing 7 days a week pretty much all the way through the summer and I am sure my sanity has left with my concentration. It’s entirely possible that I will forget what I am typing when I’m only halfway
  18. I was thinking more buttons to access presets quickly: http://www.tech21nyc.com/products/effects/midimongoose.html
  19. I've been teaching for most of the evening and I am just catching up on this thread. Watching the Andertons video right now and I'm really impressed.
  20. Dood

    Valeton pedals.

I bought my OC-10 from Donner direct. Took ages to get here but at a considerable saving.
  21. When things go right it's brilliant. Couriers are good. I think my thread highlights that when something went slightly wrong, it snowballed in to an utterly horrible situation that only the CEO's management team were able to fix. My problem with the whole episode wasn't so much that they'd misplaced the bass in the beginning, it was the attitude both I and Wunjo were given from all staff at UPS (who weren't in the previously mentioned management area). They may have just told us to "F*** OFF!" and that would have been less offensive. Thing is, when the service is going ok, you'd never know that this courier were so incredibly inept and incapable when the service broke down. They will never be held to account though and thats why we pay stupid money for insurance that we should have to add to each shipment.
  22. I think I'll use the surplus on a really small MIDI controller (like the tech 21) for fast access to different patches.
  23. You know me so well....
  24. Oh great.. I was saving up for an HX Effects and now this happens lol...
