  1. That’s well lovely! ❤️
  2. Mark sold a TC Electronics BC208 2x8 cab to me. Arrived on time well packed in original packaging and at a really good price for a mint condition unit. Great comms letting me know when it shipped, tracking number etc. Would have no hesitation in dealing with Mark again. A credit to Basschat and a top bloke🙂
  3. Thanks. It arrived yesterday. Really, really pleased with it🙂
  4. Fantastic amount of bass for not a lot of money. I’m still to own a Sire but when I do this will be the one I go for first
  5. I have a SBMM Ray34CA in mint green with rosewood. The neck doesn’t feel as deep front to back as the USA Sterling’s from my memory of them. the Ray 34CA is a bass I really like and use a fair bit. The 2EQ sounds really fat but still with that top end zing .The rest of the band have all commented on how good that bass sounds.
  6. Wholeheartedly agree. The neck carve is my favourite in all of bass land. I had a USA Sterling in that same colour with the maple neck. Fantastic bass but I ended up trading it away to eubassix. I’ve also had a white sparkle with rosewood and a honeyburst with rosewood over the years. Currently eyeing the black 2HH on here. Ah...if only funds would allow it😕
  7. I just ordered one of these from Guitar Guitar. (white/maple) tried hard but couldn’t resist.
  8. 1996 G&L L-5500 (the one with the EMG 40dc pickups and BTC active circuit) Played one in McCormacks Music in Glasgow around 20 years or so ago and liked it. Finally got one and I’m pleased as punch with it. Bit of a weighty bugger but I’m sure this thing is going to sound great at my next band practice. Sounds great solo’d too. Just not like any G&L I heard/played/owned before.
  9. Matt bought my Ibanez fan fret SRFF806 from me. Great fella to deal with, paid quickly. Very understanding when there was an issue with the courier at my end. Stand up guy and a credit to Basschat. Keir
  10. BUMP for price drop now £550
  11. Sorry Max I missed this completely string spacing at bridge is 18mm
  12. Sold my Cort GB75JH five string to Quent. Great guy to deal with who told me he wanted it then made swift payment . Also was good exchanging PMs backwards and forwards with him. An absolute gent! highly recommended and a credit to Basschat. cheers Keir
  13. **NOW SOLD** Owned by me since December 2018. I am the second owner. No issues with the bass other than some buckle rash on the back and some small dings here and there. great playing neck, in fact one of the best playing necks I’ve ever had on any bass I have owned. Action can be got stupidly low. The bass is available for audition just outside Ayr, 30 miles south of Glasgow. Will package securely if buyer arranges their own courier. Payment would need to be by bank transfer or by cash on collection. Keir
  14. Now sold and on its way to its new owner in the morning 🙂
  15. I happily played a pair of these for a while after selling my USA Stingray 5’s. Looks ace and at a great price too!
  16. Russ acted as an initial go between his guitarist and me over the sale of my Sterling AX20. Sale went through and his mate now has said guitar. thanks Russ much appreciated! Keir
  17. Surprised at the lack of love for the Gretsch. Final BUMP before withdrawing it and finally getting round to putting some flats on it before then putting it under the bed again.
  18. Now £250. Will box up for shipping if buyer arranges own courier. Sry no paypal, bank transfer only. Check my feedback - I’ve done lots of deals on basschat over the years without a hitch Keir
  19. Still have original Roland shipping box for this. BUMP for a sooper dooper do it all workstation
  20. Cort GB75JH see thru black ash body with maple neck and a nicely figured flame maple fingerboard. On my (imprecise) bathroom scales the weight is somewhere between 9.25 and 9.5 lbs Hardware on the GB75JH is an Omega high mass Badass type bridge and grooved saddles for changing string spacing to suit. Hipshot tuners are at the other end. Pickups are Cort’s own True Voice humbucker and single coil with 2 band active EQ. Volume pulls up for passive operation. Bought new just over a month ago. One small ding on body not visible from the front. No structural, electronics or playability issues with the bass at all. Will box up for shipping if buyer arranges their own courier. £295
  21. The B is fine. Sounds as clear as the B on both my Overwater Aspiration Elite (35”) or Ibanez fan fret 6 (35.5”) Never gave the 34” scale on the LTD much thought tbh. I used to feel the same about the Stingray 5’s I owned and I know they’re well thought of. more pics
  22. I believe the RB stands for “Rocco’s bass” as the RB series of basses were designed in conjunction with Rocco Prestia. I liked the non soapbar pickup type and placement for a six string. The body is swamp ash with a burl maple top. The neck finish is gloss on the fingerboard and bare wood on the back which has been regularly waxed to a nice smooth sheen and feel. Pickups are Aguilar and the pre-amp is an Aguilar OBP2. Bass has been owned by me from new and has been babied in the year I’ve owned it. Never been out the house. It’s also extremely light on the shoulder. Will need to weigh it but will be surprised if it’s too much over 8lbs. Would like to keep this but as usual I have my eyes on other things.
