Doesn't necessarily sound more like a Warwick due to the difference in woods/construction between the two but definitely sounds like a more authoritive sounding Squier. I'm in Ayrshire about 25 miles south of Glasgow.

Squier classic vibe jazz bass bought on this forum this time last year. Well gigged by its previous owner and It has done a fair number with myself too but I'm now only playing electro-acoustic basses with my band so this is sat doing nothing really. The bass has a fair number of dings and small knocks,nothing serious.The headstock was refinished before I got the bass and on close inspection isn't the most professional job on the planet but you have to be close up to notice that. One of the bushings on the tuners is different from the others. The chrome control plate has tarnished too. The bass has been fitted with MEC Dynamic Correction J/J pickups taken from a German Warwick Corvette iirc. These sound great on this bass. On the headstock is a set of Schaller open ear tuners. the pickguard is of unknown origin. The bass comes with a functional gig bag and would be well packed in a shipping box for transit. I owned this bass for a couple of years. Having had a couple of Asat basses and a SB2, I prefer the G&L #8 jazz necks and I waited a while to find an L2K such as this with one. Unfortunately the need to buy a new car forced me to cull my G&L collection or else I would have kept this. Such a gorgeous looking bass and a great player too.I can only imagine the set up is now near perfect with the graphite neck. GLWTS

This used to be mine. I traded it away to Peter last year. Was a lovely player and a great example of this long discontinued German made model. GLWTS!

I owned this bass for about a year in 08/09 and I nearly had it back off Richard once but he decided to hold on to it at that time. I mean it when I say I haven't owned a bass with a better fit and finish than this Valenti. Everything about its construction was just spot on and playing it was effortless and inspiring. If I had the funds for it these days I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
