3. I've used NBR pipe lagging before, it's a bit firmer than some of the grey PE foam lagging. You will get it in a hardware shop like B&Q. Hamster
 4. I think Warwicks sound ok for most applications, but I just don't get on with the body shapes. Hamster
Yep, it works a treat! There's an option in the user control panel, you just type in the user's name and it blocks their posts.
Unless of course someone 'quotes' the blocked post in their post - then you see it. Hamster
 6. For all the charges - import, VAT and handling etc, if you add 22% to the final shipped total that will give you a good idea of the in your hands cost. Hamster
 7. Sounds like a nice project. I would strongly advise to keep to 36" or less scale length. A 38" scale might give you real tendonitis problems unless you have really massive hands and long fingers. Hamster
 8. Small but nice! I'd like one of those full scale Skoda cakes that are on the telly Hamster
 9. I've bought/sold a few things now if you want to give some love............ Hamster
 10. This is such a painful thread - I thought my shrink had helped me to forget all of my bad musical memories - now they're all back again. I need therapy! Hamster

 14.
Woa..the custom body decal is way to close to the name, could this be a factory error? or someone's foolish attempt at applying a decal? *shrugs* Would have fooled me, I never buy Fender's off ebay..I can't trust them, so probs...but others make up from squiers.
I've seen the decals close like that on MIJ necks. 18.
I'm sorry if you find my wanting to discuss a Lydia video an irritant. But this IS a discussion forum. P.
Ok, there have been previous threads about her, but when I surf in my tea breaks it's nice to be reminded about a quick video clip to watch or listen to. Hamster
 19.
I've got a Fender USA series Precision Bass (the one with the useless S1 Switching) The output from the D & G strings is considerably lower than the output from the E & A strings I'm going to try lowering the pup under the E & A and raise the t'uther to try and even it out I've had this bass a couple of years and not noticed this until I installed a Badass III bridge So . . Is there a way of checking if both halfs of the split pick-up are working correctly ? Cheers for you help Ade
I think for that test you'll have to disconnect the pickups from the pots and each other and test the DC resistance of each one. Don't test the DC resistance without disconnecting them or you'll get a false reading. Hamster
 20. Methinks shill bidding too! Hamster
 21. I think I'll buy her album Transformation and have a good old listen Hamster

 23.
Just had this for about 5 mins. IPS Driver Error There appears to be an error with the database. You can try to refresh the page by clicking here
Me too, at the same time as Danny Hamster
 24.
right, my new pedal board is planned in my head, but i have some questions. What does a bassballs do? Are there any octave up effects? I think the unibass does octave up, but will it do it without any fuzz? Has anybody tried using something like a danelectro spring king for that spring reverb crash?
It sounds a bit like this:_ There's quite a few pedals that give an octave up - digitech whammy and EBS octobass off the top of my head.
