1.
our musical style has changed from Chicago/Texas style gritty blues to a more audience appealing "Funky-Blues-Rock-Latino" quartet.
Now that's your problem! That really limits the band names list to things like "The Sell-Outs" or "The Traitors" Hamster
2. Went too cheap I reckon - Subs are worth a lot more than that Hamster
3. Hmmm - I might go on the Friday Hamster
4. Anti-clockwise - same as headstock end. Hamster
5.
I ended up buying an Ernie Ball Junior with 250Kohm pot, I have it at the end of the chain because I tried it everywhere and that's where it sounded better.
What is your pedalchain? - it will make a diference where you place it depending on what's in the chain. Basically, you want it before any delay, chorus or reverb, but after other pedals. Hamster
6. Looks to me as if it's just the threaded nut that screws onto the trussrod end. If you can carefully tighten it up back onto the threads it should be ok. If you're not sure what you are doing, take it into a luthier. What bass is it on? Hamster
7. Could you use on of these with it? Hamster
8. Sounds like he's in a Leonard Cohen tribute band Hamster

11. I looked alot cooler when I had a shock of red hair too - maybe I should loose the chick? Hamster
12. Well, since you ask I also play a Fender Strat with the hotter Tex-Mex pickups into either a 1982 Fender Concert amp or a 1985 Mesa Boogie Studio 22+. I'm really struggling over the amps, I love both but I just can't afford to have two such expensive (for me) amps. Hamster
13.
Hamster Where do you live in the Runnymede? Windlesham born, raised in Egham (or Pooley Green to be more precise). Moved away about twenty years ago (along with Bill Bryson!). P
I'm in the big C at the moment, but hoping to move to the big A in a few months (Chertsey ---> Addlestone) Hamster
14.
They look similar to me, although the one on the right looks more empty!!
The one on the right was also run over by a Russian tank Hamster
15. I went to Dawsons in Reading last night to the free Fender clinic with Greg Koch and Reggie Hamilton. It was very hard to keep the plastic in my pocket after such an enjoyable free gig. Had a long chat with Reggie - such a nice guy. I liked his tribute bass, very easy to play, wide range of tones and a D tuner. I just made do with some strings and a signed CD from the master of gristle Hamster
16. Connect them how you like - they will sound terrible until you add a CowBell emulator Hamster
17. 4 Kids!! You're no longer a parent - you're a referee! Welcome Hamster
18. I was watching one last night on you tube - Eva Cassidy - Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Sublime. Hamster
19. Welcome to the forum! I worked in Old Street for some time, but I never went into Troy's! - Is there a particular jammin night because I go that way about twice a month? Hamster
All deleted threads go into the 'recycle bin' where I found the BFM thread which went offline. The only thing in there by you Joe is your Dingwall for sale thread - is that meant to be there?? Cheers ped
If deleted threads go into the 'recycle bin', where do deleted posts go? Is there an 'audit trail' to show who deleted the thread or post? Ta Hamster
22. Brilliant! If you don't think they rock you need a checkup from the neckup Hamster
