19.
As soon as the parcel is at the depot just cruise over and ask for it - the letter from them will arrive at least two days after the parcel can actually be collected.
When I got a parcel from the USA through USPS / Parcelforce I got the letter before the parcel arrived at the depot. It was their practice to send out the letter as soon as the parcel arrived at the port of entry to try and address the problem Ped points out. Safest thing is to ring the depot, which I think is at Mitcham for you Hamster

 23.
Hi folks, My Vigier semi-hardcase needs a new zip. I have been to town and had quotes from £90 - seriously - and finally a very helpful woman in Millets gave me the details of this place which will do it for £20-25 but I will have to post it. Does anyone have any contacts I could exploit at this point? I can get a new one for £65 but would kind of prefer to fix up the origional, we share fond memories. Cheers ped
That place sounds quite good. The only other thing I was going to suggest would be to check out any small tailoring/repair shops in your area to see if they would be up for it?
