11. Let me know if you think about a straight sale - the only bass I have to trade is a handmade Jazz shape active fretless, which I don't think you'd go for.
12. I've added one or two little Christmas/New Year pressies for everyone to indulge in

14. Well, not really! I've played bass for a fair few years now and I've always avoided the 'stereotypical' Fender Jazz (and Precision) basses as I wanted to be 'different.' I finally took the plunge a couple of weeks ago and bought my first Fender Jazz bass. It's passive, Mexican, black and it's just 'right.' Bog standard, and 'out of the box' with cheap strings it just works. A terrific range of tones from the 'non-custom' pickups. The 'non-birdseye quarter-sawn maple' neck is great for my smaller hands. The bog standard tuners actually do tune. I don't know what wood the body is made of, but nothing's fallen off it yet Because the neck is easier for my fingers I now play better. I'm now really enjoying the simple pleasures of life! Nice!
15.
If I can help with the funding of a Spector by buying my old P bass back I'd be at your door in a flash BUMP!!
I was very tempted to trade you the P bass for that 3TS Jazz you recently had - but the P is so nice! I have the funds for the Spector, but I have to make room for it first! - I do fancy one of those lovely poplar burl top Euro 5 LX's

17.
sold sorry mate
Perhaps a change in the title would help?
18. I bought this bass a couple of years ago in the hope of reviving my fretless playing (which used to be quite reasonable) I learnt bass on a fretless but was drawn towards the darkside of frets and after some heart searching I've decided that I'm now just a fretted player and I have too many basses I don't play. It came to me as a neck and body but with no neck plate hence the spare Fender one fitted that I had in my bits box!. When I put it together I found someone had snapped a bridge screw off in the body and the neck had a slight warp. I had the neck professionally levelled/fixed and a new bridge and nut fitted by Joe White at http://www.jwhite-gu...orkshops.co.uk/ The bass is made with a Zebrano body and neck with a Brazilian Santos rosewood fingerboard. Baddass II bridge, Audere JZ3 preamp, D'Adderio nickel half-rounds. It plays really well, the neck is 1 9/16" at the nut, string spacing is 19mm at the bridge. Zebrano is a close-grained and heavy wood and the bass is around 11lbs. The tone is quite bright with loads of sustain. I've also got a generic case for it somewhere. It's from a luthier who is quite well known in Italy - http://www.arcangeliguitars.it Here's his Youtube promo video: What I'm looking for: Active or passive, natural finish, 5 strings, narrow-ish string spacing, Spector, Warwick, Lakland DJ5 etc, but I do fancy a Spector! - I have cash to spend for the right trade Or give me some cash - around £400 should do the trick Pictures:
19. According to the stats, nothing has been deleted since we turned on the new forum board, and as has been said, the ability to view deleted posts is of great value. The new board was deleting stuff totally, with no record of it. I'm just trying to figure out how we can put it back the way it was.
20. I've turned that off for a while as I'm trying to figure out why deleted posts and topics are not going into the trash can.
21. Completed a nice straightforward trade with Jon and have now acquired a nice black Jazz from him. - Cheers fella.
