3. Theres a step by step guide here - http://www.tunemybass.com/bass_setup/setti...intonation.html
4. It's just an estimated price! Nice necks on those, knock a 0 off the estimate and you're about there.
5. Interesting physics happening inside that amp too - 2400watts input gives a more than lossless 3800watts output? With the other bits and bobs on it I think it just might fall a little short on it's claims?
6. Haven't tried the Diamond. Tried the rest. Own a Demeter. I won't be bothering to try anything else.
7. Also a lot of info to be found via the search function - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=Search...e=%2Bcompressor
8. AnalogMan Mini Chorus with deep mod - sublime. Everything else I've heard sounded quite harsh and digital by comparison. I like warm and retro, which this is excellent at. It really did live up to all the hype when I played through it and found my personal chorus heaven! 9. Ah, the old suck, squeeze, bang, blow rhythm method!
10. Hard to tell what's wrong - got any good pictures of your wiring attempts?
11.
Am I suppose to use special wire for earthing to the bridge as I usually use any old wire.
Just use a spare bit of hook-up wire same as the rest of the electrics are connected with.

15. Carole Kaye has signed all my James Jamerson albums - must be worth something?
16. Billie Joe is no Mozart but I really like Green Day. I think sometimes we can get so involved in the esoterica of music that we miss the basic fun of it, and I like to basically have fun!
17. Some really really nice basses there! Sound is of course subjective - I spent hours in The Gallery playing and deciding which 5 stringer had a better B string - for me the stock Lakland 55/01 beat the SR5 by a country mile (through the same rig)
18. Hamster

21. Guys - as the first post is the one and only post the seller has made and he hasn't logged on since 18/12/08 the best way to contact him might be by using the e-mail facility
22.
I quite like the look of this, and for a shop it seems a reasonable price. Musicman Stingray V Is it a good one, or are there some to avoid? Also, what sort of tone do you get with these?
If you're near Hitchen - pop in and have a noodle?
23. I think Merton in Redhill has one - he leaves his keys under his bass-playing garden gnome - go in and help yourself!
