3. I wish I'd read the last post first before clicking on the link! 175 pages of the same notes played in different orders
4.
How does the old saying go: a picture is worth a thousand words?
Now that CK has sold his black Celinder, I think we should replace the website banner with another appropriate bass-related picture............ I don't think we even need to vote or have a poll on it do we!?
5. Try this one:- http://www.korg.co.uk/products/dance_dj/ka...kaossilator.asp

11. If he delivers in person locally I wonder if he'll put it carefully on the back seat!?
12. Hi There's an entry in the wiki - which can be found by clicking the link at the top of the page - http://wiki.basschat.co.uk/info:amps:impedance_and_wattage
13.
Thanks so much for the help everyone... let me see if im understanding this correctly. One way would be to simply use my existing 9v Boss power supply with a daisy chain to power my boss pedal tuner, Boss OC3, Akai headrush, Behringer Bass Chorus etc etc etc.
Only if it has sufficient current output
The use my seperate 12v supply to power the DHA?
Yes
What would happen if i used the 12v supply and daisy chain to power everything? Would it be BAD??? Unless I get Diago or someone to build me a custom 9v and 12v daisy chain yeah?
Some pedals might object to 12v being stuck in them. Just go for two power supplies - simple.
And with regard to 1000ma and all that jazz.... (I dont have the foggiest what this even means!) but i need to find out how many ma's each of my pedals draw, total them up, check my supply can deliver that much and that the daisy chain i buy can cope too?
Yes, see what each one needs to operate, add the mA together, and buy a power supply that exceeds that total as you want to keep some back for additions.
14.
Everybody Needs Somebody and Soul Man - Blues Brothers. Am I right in thinking they are Duck Dunn lines?
I think they are. Last riff learnt - Sylvia by Focus
15. I don't know why, but I really want it! I can really see myself playing it, but wearing a lot of makeup, some kinky boots and a moderate amount of ladies clothing
16.
does the BBE do a decent job of compressing slap bass?
Depends what your definition of decent is? If you mean a really heavy compression then no - go for a modded CS-3 or a Trace Elliot comp. If you mean very low noise and light to medium compression then yes, it does the job pretty well.
17. I disagree with the above. You should go to the little workers café opposite the tube station and load up with doorstop bacon butties and giant mugs of tea first. Then go to The Gallery. You'll be in there for the best part of 8 hours so best to load up on carbs, fat and tea first!
18. Something like this will do - http://www.hartnollguitars.co.uk/products.asp?id=2218 I agree with the above - don't go for anything with less than 1000mA output, and you will need a seperate supply for the DHA. As for polarity etc, most go the Boss way with a centre negative 5.5mm x 2.1mm male barrel plug, some have 3.5mm Mini-Jack and some have centre positive. If you need a converter link to match your pedal to supply, send a PM to the forum member OBBM - he'll make up whatever you want.
19. Thing is, if in a fit of madness you did buy it, and found it actually plays/sounds worse than your 2001 USA Jazz would you keep it or sell it straight on?
20. Hi - and welcome to the forums! Have a good look around and enjoy!
21. It's a bit like surgery over the interweb this! - It could be one of several things. If you're getting noise from the speaker it could suggest that the power section is ok and the preamp is broken, or has a loose/dry connection or one of several other things! There's a good amp tech in Nottingham - http://www.chambonino.com/
22. 'Ere! - where's the free washboard!?
23. I've found my string Nirvana - DR's all the way - unless of course we're talking flats in which case it's LaBellas!
24. I'm liking! I've not long bought a Fender P with a similar hue and really getting to like it!
