1. I'm getting lost now Did anyone see the footy earlier?
2.
It has an amber type stain to it and having just decorated the living room, it's woefully apparent that I can't match colours .....
Simple, just wallpaper the whole front of the bass with a heavy flock or woodchip, that way everything will match beautifully Yes, I know, my coat is by the door.......
3. ....... and the 3 substantial handles on the top mean what exactly!? Does the optometrist also do hernia repairs?
4. Very interesting reading how it comes down to about the same 4 effects for most people.
5. There's a also a nice café by the station for top bacon butties and mugs of tea
6. Top 30 based on what? Number of strings, number of frets, length of hair? Each one has no doubt brought something individual to bass playing (some more than others) but it's just too random a list with some glaring omissions.
7. You'll find this a much much better place to buy and sell than fleabay. Welcome!
8. Let us know how you get on with it - there's obviously no one else with one on their P
9.
Phil Lynott.......Black Rose,70s P-Bass with a mirror scratchplate.
Nail, ---> Hit, ---> Head -
10. Something like this? - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Boss-NS-2-Noise-Supp...%3A1|240%3A1318
11.
Well i didn't need two of them....
And Bootsy Collins' signature on the side is so well preserved considering how many gigs he used that one with!
12. There are some pedals here that I've never heard (or heard of!)
13. £75 for an Original Mutron III was a bit of a bargain!
14. Hey, that was really quite good - well done!
15.
... ducks for cover
That's quite a unique use for a duck - does the drummer throw them bits of bread?
16. I borrowed a bass for a couple of songs once and had the same baffling experience - until I noticed the E string had been wound on the opposite way.
17. Ummmmm, perhaps tighten the question down then? Ok, what is the main music style you play, and what 4 pedals would never leave your board?
18. Hi Stuart - welcome to the forums!
19. A very nice colour! What year is it, and where are you based? - it might help the sale
20. I've seen far too many crimes against innocent basses - it's driven me to drink, and I'm off for a very large scotch right now!
21. I don't think there's a UK distributor, it might be a case of ordering direct? IIRC they need a lot of power to get the best out of them because they're not very sensitive, but with that Epifani you might be ok!
22. I have quite a few pedals - too many in fact! If I'm honest I don't tend to use much more than an octaver, compressor, chorus and distortion and the rest is just 'board candy' or gathering dust in my music room. Generally I expect funk players to have a synth or auto-wah, metal players to have distortion, slap players to have compression etc, so ............. Presuming that a tuner is pedal number 5 - what other 4 pedals/effects should never leave your board/rack?
23.
A valid point, I have just sent them an email, will see what they can do for me.
I don't know if you've had a reply from Session, but I might be seeing Stuart (the owner) on Thursday night if you want me to ask him about it.
