Here's some pictures that Bassbloke took (I'm happy to take them down if I'm infringing your copyright Hans!) I've just checked and it is indeed a 4 ohm cab - my bad - Thanks Hans for spotting my cut/paste error from the online link! Only things I've changed from the pictures are the corners are now the common plastic corners that are on 99% of cabs and I've done a total relining of the cab with better acoustic foam.

Thanks for your work on this - and to all who have contributed in a positive way. No more slagging off/negative comments please. Lets get this bass home. -

I went too see Doug with Keith (or was it Kenny?) LeBlanc at the Bass Centre for a gig. A bit of a name dropper and heavy on the pedals but a great bassist. p.s. I remember the drummer looked a little frail with little or no hair and a basebal cap - cancer/chemotherapy/recreational chemistry? Excellent drummer though.
Found this on the net. Stig Pedersen and this is one of his crazy two string basses!
Right, that's it. No more booze - I'm off to bed. Is that bass very close, or very far away?
Hi guys, I want to get my Warwick Protube serviced as I want it in tip top shape for when I start to gig and perhaps tour with my band. A major complaint I have with this amp is that the tube channel EQ switches are so delicate and I need them either replaced or have a new push pull system incorperated into the head for added durability as all but one have snapped off and now the tube channel keeps flickering on and off. Any Ideas where to get it serviced? How much do they charge to have the whole thing looked at? Im based in Brighton Thanks
Just be very careful not to part with your money before you have the goods - some people have been seriously ripped off like this.
+1 i have a Lakland Jo5 and its just suburb! I get so many tones out of it and with my Gk head, i can set the eq to give it a bit more of an edge. Im not sure i NEED another bass but il still get another one when i have the money
I think I played a Lakland JO4 at the SE BassBash. Very very good. In fact I'll stick my neck out and say that IMHO Lakland make the most versatile 'off the shelf' basses that money can buy. -
Puy de dome is just under 2 hours from us so when you're passing....... I'll uncork a couple. Cheers keith
Is a 'couple' bigger than a Nebuchadnezzar - if so, I'm very interested. Please post pictures of accomodation/patio area you can offer so I can tell if I can fall flat on my face without injury.

You might want to play around with ISD pro first before choosing a speaker - it will make quite a difference. http://www.linearteam.dk/default.aspx?pageid=winisdpro

I really love my Lakland 5 string - so fantastic at everything, but I'd grab the Stingray 4 - it just feels/sounds so right. It's my sound. -

Hi Alex After Merton has blown it to bits, can I try the shrapnel? I had to leave the SE Bass Bash before I had chance to abuse it. I've just bought a BFM Omni15 Tallboy from David Perry and am interested to do an A/B. After I'm done I can deliver it to the next abuser within spitting distance of me........ I can spit 10 miles or so from M.25 Junction 11. (Mug of tea on delivery please) Cheers -
