    SOLD

I'm surprised too and I think the price is on point - I've owned a couple of 4-string versions and a 5-string also - I think they're excellent basses - I would definitely buy this if I wasn't playing only 6-string bass nowadays - thanks @ambient. And despite seeing two for sale on basschat recently, they're actually very, very rare too - before now, I don't recall seeing an FMT Jazz available here for years.
  2. Bought an MXR M81 from Chris - everything was absolutely seamless - just perfect.
  3. Bought a Ditto looper pedal from John - everything was perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect...
  4. Darkglass Electronics Alpha Omicron Bass Overdrive There are some markers I put on with a felt tip - they'll come off with some rubbing alcohol but I don't have any at the moment.
  5. Darkglass Microtubes B3K V2 Bass Overdrive Pedal
  6. I would go with an Eich BC112 from what you’re describing.
  7. What a great specification - I’m excited to see this when it’s ready. I have a relatively similarish Fodera myself - a 33” scale Emperor 6 Elite and the B is thunderous - I was a little nervous about buying a 33” scale initially considering the B but it’s amazing …I’d really like to play the Tony Grey 6 which is 30.75” scale to see how good the B is.
  8. Darkglass Vintage Microtubes Bass Overdrive
  9. Electro-Harmonix Nano Bass Big Muff Pi Fuzz Pedal - £40 Tailor your drive/distortion sound with Sustain, Tone and Volume knobs Features a Dry switch that mixes your dry bass, at unity level, with the Nano Bass Big Muff’s distortion. True bypass for maximum signal path integrity. Road worthy die-cast chassis.
  10. SOLD: Darkglass Alpha Omega

  12. Welcome Tim - I've owned both and I would choose the Eich BC112Pro every time for a combo - I think it's the best combo I've ever used.
  13. Bought a pedal from Mike - excellent communication, quick shipping and bomb proof packing - perfect.
  14. I bought a Strymon Zuma from Ben. Unfortunately it hasn't arrived but a full refund was provided without delay. My communications were very good with updates provided throughout.
  15. Posted that I was after a post-2012 US Standard Jazz Bass and Chris came up trumps. Got a great, great 2014 Jazz in Olympic white with rosewood fingerboard. Great communication and super fast shipping. Thanks a lot Chris.
  16. A fabulous amplifier, a fabulous bargain and a fabulous seller.
  17. Very good advice. I actually ended up selling all my 4s so I couldn’t do anything but play my 6er!
  18. I completely understand where you're coming from and, apart from not selling all my equipment (I've kept my one bass and my pedals but all my amplification is gone), it could have been me writing this - I think I've played maybe 6 times since March 2020.
  19. I know you talked about the Darkglass Vintage Microtubes... but I use an Alpha Omega and its the only distortion pedal I've ever kept - bought and sold probably 20 over the years.
  20. The same reasons as @BigRedX unfortunately - not being able to perform live has resulted in no incentive for me - I've probably picked up my bass less than 5 times since March 2020.
  21. US Standard, white, tort and rosewood. Perfect.
  22. Would it be possible for you to go to the bass gallery and A/B test them at volume? I’ve had and gigged two Trickfish TF112 cabinets and I liked the sound a lot but I sold them because they were too heavy for me at 36lbs.
  23. Really happy to read a nice story about a courier. I think couriers are largely as good as one another overall. For every negative about DPD, FedEx, Royal Mail, Hermes, there will be loads of positives that nobody talks about. Despite all the horror stories, I used Hermes for well over 70 packages in November/December and had 1 problem out of all of them. I sent maybe 10 through Real Mail and had 2 problems. I don't blame anyone - its just the way it goes
