  1. 1 cabinet sold. 1 remaining.
  2. Acoustic Image too.
  3. Yes, they are 4 ohms but I've now edited the title too so it definitely can't be overlooked.
  4. This amazing GRBass AT112h cabinet is made of carbon fibre and weighs just 8 kg (17 lbs) - your back will love you. My loss is your gain. I've had this cabinet for 8 weeks, it’s have never been out of the house and it’s in absolutely pristine, as new condition. I need to gather some funds together for a new project. The GRBass AT112h cabinet costs £866 at Thomann - https://www.thomann.de/gb/gr_bass_at112h_8.htm The GRBass AeroTech range of speakers are the lightest bass guitar speaker cabinets in the world. Never has a professional speaker cabinet been produced with this performance to weight ratio. The AeroTech speaker cabinets are made of high-tech carbon fibre materials developed for the AeroSpace industry and are used for rigidity and consistency while offering durability and reduced weight. Overall the Aero series of cabinets when compared to any wood cabinet on the market have better focus, detail, punch, overall richness of sound and a more open soundstage. Here are the AeroTech versions compared to their wood counterparts: 40% lighter weight with greater durability than wood construction. Possess greater consistency in weight and sound by using non-organic material. Employ extreme rigidity that improves sound quality by reducing resonance and control of spurious vibrations in the cabinet. It'd be preferable if any prospective buyer was able to come and play it using their own bass, etc. but I will ship it if necessary. I am based in Bournemouth, Dorset. 5. Nice one. Not seen that before.
  6. Leading on from the loud fans thread, I’m looking for class D amplifiers that don’t have fans at all? I know the Trickfish Bullhead 1K doesn’t have a fan and I’m pretty sure the Phil Jones BP-800 doesn’t too? Any more?
  7. I had two TH350s, a TH500 and tried out the AG700 and TH700. All the Aguilar amplifiers use the same fan - whether they are loud to you or not is subjective but they're too loud for me. It's down to the quality of the parts used I think.
  8. Nice one. Well done mate.
  9. Thanks Graeme - just to add to this, while I did offer a complete refund, Graeme was happy with a partial refund and keeping the pedal.
  10. Darkglass Alpha Omicron with original box and papers, etc. bought new by me 10 July 2020. This pedal is in completely brand new condition. I have decided to keep my Alpha Omega Ultra. With the double distortion engine (Alpha and Omega), the Alpha Omicron delivers unparalleled versatility, harmonic rich and bone-crushing sound. Designed for bassists in need of a preamplifier to be distinctively heard in any musical context. Blend: Mixes the clean and processed signals. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine mix tuning. Level: Sets the volume of the overdriven signal. Drive: Sets the amount of gain in the overdriven signal. Mod: Selects or mixes between the two distinct distortion circuits: Alpha is punchy, tight with a lot of definition, whereas Omega is simply brutal and raw. Bite Switch: Boosts High Mids (2.8kHz) for additional presence and definition. Growl Switch: Shelving Bass Boost for a fatter tone and increased low end saturation.
  11. .
  12. Agree completely here. I’ve played 33” scale only for the last five years or so and I’ve had good ones and not so good ones. The bit about being designed and built cleverly is important for any bass of course but absolutely essential on a bass with a low B.
  13. Whenever I see something I want there, it’s always overpriced - a Japanese Ken Smith Burner 6 (they’re rare but the one there at the moment is higher money than I’ve seen American Smiths here on BC) and an old Musicman Sabre (they are all hugely over priced - same ones for sale for literally years). I would buy something there though if the seller had great feedback.
  14. Lovely. I wish I was exaggerating when I say I've been on the lookout for a six-string version of this bass for 5 years now.
  15. They're very good players aren't they? But there really is absolutely no heart in it whatsoever... probably because, as you say Rich, any mistake may likely have serious consequences!
  16. We had this at my dads funeral as we entered the crematorium. As for me, how about 'Firestarter' by The Prodigy or maybe 'Blaze Of Glory' by Bon Jovi?
  17. I’d go with a second hand American Standard - that way you’ll more than likely get a great instrument and also be able to sell it for more or less what you paid when the GAS attacks again.
  18. Andy purchased my Eich BC112Pro combos. Deal was done and dusted within 24 hours. I really hope to deal with him again one day soon.
  19. Awesome. And Vanderkley is great equipment too.
  20. Keep it! Anything under £2k for this is mad.
