Afternoon All, I'm selling a Mex 57 Classic P Bass. I've used the original fiesta red body for a '62 project and replaced that with a 3 piece solid Alder sunburst body. The neck with reverse tuners and all the hardware, bridge, pickups, and gold anodised scratchplate are all from the original bass. So basically all original apart from the body. The bass is in excellent condition, no dings or deep scratches, neck is beautiful, aged finish, setup with a very low action. Sounds like a vintage Precision, plays great. Don't know how much it weighs, it seems the same as when the original body was attached. One fault I can find is a gap(around 1mm) on the scratchplate above the controls...see pix. I'm asking £300 plus P&P including a gigbag. I've used the amp with a variety of speakers from GB NEOX 212 to an EBS 1x15 and 4x10 stack, (massive sound) at 2 ohms. Huge range of tones available, from clean slap tones, massive dub and a fab JJ Burnel from overdriving the Valve Channel. I'm selling the amp as I don't need two channels anymore, I've had to give up the EUB due to a elbow injury. I'd rather sell the amp outright at £550 but would consider a lightweight amp as a p/x e.g. GB shuttle 6 or a Little mark2. I'm in South Wales, any trial is welcome and I'd rather meet up than trust a courier. The amp comes with a 2u ABS case, I've taken some pix without to show the overall excellent condition of the amp. I've been putting this off for a while but I'm just not playing it anymore and I hate instruments as household ornaments. This has been my main gigging and recording 5 string since I bought it off the forum a few years ago. I'm mainly playing 4 strings these days and I have another five for the rare occasions when it's required. It's an early model(No2291) Basic 5, not one of the pre Gibson models but I belive it's a '93 model, it has the "Tobias" stamped bridge and it originally had a Bartolini XTCT preamp. The preamp failed around a year ago so I had a Bart NTMB 3 band fitted. The bass has a 34 inch scale 5 piece Maple and Purpleheart asymmetric Through Neck, Pau Ferro fingerboard, with solid Flamed Maple body wings. Bartolini pups and preamp, Tobias bridge and Grover Tuners. String spacing at the bridge is 17.5mm It's in good condition, some dings at the lower bout of the body, frets are very good and the dual truss rods work perfectly, it's set up with a low action and is buzz free all over the neck. When I bought the Bass I had some concerns about a mark at the top of the neck near the headstock, I obviously queried this with the seller who assured me the bass had not suffered a headstock break. Trusting man that I am I had it checked by a local Luthier, Gary Lewis based in Neath who thought it could have been a gouge or scrape on the neck caused by a sharp object, as there was no evidence of damage from any impact at the front or rear of the headstock, I've tried to show this mark on some closeups of the mark and the headstock. The bass plays and sounds fantastic, the B string response is brilliant sounds like an extension of the E string....best way I can describe it . Have a look: Some pix of the headstock: The Bass comes with a Tobias hardcase this is in pretty good nick but the combination locking latch is broken. I took the guitar to the first South Wales bass bash....RIP Si....and everyone who played it were very impressed. Tradewise I'm looking for a Stingray4, USA 70's reissue jazz or USA 50's reissue P Bass Ideally with maple f/boards. I don't mind a Japanese Fender but would want some cash on top. I'm in S.Wales but don't mind driving M4/M5 for fuel costs, or could courier. I'll be in London next Weekend visiting family. Thanks, Gary.

Hi All, Selling my Schroeder Mini 12+ L as I'm using a new Genz Benz setup. The Mini 12+L has one 12" neodymium bass unit, 8ohm 400W, 200W Tweeter. Black textured covering, one speakon input and a variable resistor pad for tweeter volume. I've been using the cab with a 12" Beymer Sub powered by my SA450(still for sale btw) Sounds great, terrific amount of bass extension for its size. Sounds lovely as an EUB setup. Link to site. Having done a few gigs with my new amp(GBE750) and being more than happy with it, my SA450 is up for sale. It's been a great amp, light, always sounds fab and reliable. It comes with the ali case in the pix. The amp is in good general condition with some wear on the back panel. The white marks on the front panel are the settings for my EUB in tippex so no probs coming off . £375 inc postage to mainland UK, or meet up on M4/M5, South Wales based. Thanks, Gary.

Hello, I'm selling my Marleaux Constat Custom Fretless 5, not been used much over the last 6 months or so due to the fact that I'm using my EUB on a regular basis. It's a beautiful looking and sounding instrument, Sutkina body with a lovely figured Pearwood top. 5 piece maple/ebony neck and a lined ebony fingerboard. 18.5 string spacing on a flattened 'C' profile, very comfortable to play, the whole bass is very responsive to playing dynamics. Great 'B' on a 34" scale. Some soundclips here: [url="http://www.marleaux-bass.de/marleaux_soundsample.html"]http://www.marleaux-bass.de/marleaux_soundsample.html[/url] Bartolini pickups with the fab Marleaux 3 band preamp, bypass switch, sounds great in passive mode. The bass has just had a pro setup with brand new Elixir 40-125's fitted. Condition of the bass is excellent, with some slight playing wear. I'm looking for £1200 cash or I would be interested in taking a four string fretless in P/X up to about a value of £500+/- graphite neck would be great, hate not having a f/less about 'Just in case' New P/X options : Lightweight cabs e.g. Bergantino, Epifani Pix for you: I'm in South Wales but travel is ok. This bass needs to be played so don't really want to post, but if no other option is available it must have full insurance.
