    In the absence of Peter Tyler’s wonderful, skilful repair business in Maidenhead, does anyone know of a similarly good and trustworthy luthier in this neck of the woods? One of my tuning keys mysteriously dropped off my beloved double bass whilst packing her away into the gig bag a few day’s ago and is nowhere to be found. As a result I’m now unable to tune the E string! I can probably get away with it for a short while but keen to get her put back to health.

    As at 27th November 2013 - this item has just a few days to go on an E-bay Buy Now (with nearest offer option), and there are already a number of "watchers" waiting in the wings. If you want to beat them to it - make me an offer! Anything sensible will be considered.

    Time has come for me to have to sell this great little amp that is ideal for both practice, and as a back line foldback speaker. It's an uncomplaining workhorse that has served me faithfully for several years when gigging with both my fretless electric and double bass. The only small thing that may need a little attention is the bass pot. Whilst it works ok, there may be a slight loose connection. Buyer will need to collect from Reading.
