Hi there, I've just been getting back into playing bass over the past few months, and I've come to realise that me and my old Fender Jazz(MIM) aren't as close as we used to be. Too heavy, a flat sound off it and it just feels a bit chunky. I'm of two mind about this: 1. Spend 80-100 euro and get it setup properly and maybe get the wiring done again. 2. Sell it and get other bass for 500 range. (I got the bass at a steal for 300 about 7 years ago) I've had a go at the 'tanglewater' jazz bass and I really liked it, but I generally have no idea what I'm looking for. Any recommendation, for either a different bass or what to do with my Fender would be great. Thanks
