1. Happy days, ras, you can't go wrong with a GWB35; total quality, mate.
2. These basses are outstanding! I picked one up a few weeks ago and I'm amazed by its quality and sound.
3. I've just received from Alberto my Mayones Jabba Custom fretless 5-er...and I couldn't be more happy! The whole deal from beginning to end was a pleasure; excellent communication and a totally trustworthy seller. I wouldn't hesitate to do business again with Alberto. Thanks for the bass, buddy!
4.
[Good job / too bad ]* you're not local... * delete as appropriate
I've never had any probs with Interparcel/UPS, ras'
5. Final price drop bumpage...£700!
6. Cash sale, price drop-type bump...£1100!
7. Throat's parched but it looks like I'm the brew bitch again-type bump
8. Early morning, never ending night shift-type bump
9.
Look, just stop this! I'm already feeling guiltily unfaithful to the bass I was gassing over last week...
Ahh, ras. GAS is a bit of a head "flipper", innit? I've been fortunate enough to secure the latest fretless 5-er object of my desire so, for the moment, I'm in GAS remission. Tbh, if the Sandy doesn't soon go I'll be tempted to keep it (and even more tempted if my Warwick finds a nice, new home!).
10.
Damn, need another clean pair of trousers. GLWTS
Haha, cheers, Phil!
11.
Seriously beautiful bass, its got that Wal sort of look (body wise) if only it had frets
Yeah, mrn, its Wal-ness has been commented on before. But, hey, don't let the plain board put you off, fretlines would set you back in the region of £100 I have too agree, though, it is a bit of a looker....but I'm more than happy with its fretless 5-er replacement; roll on next week!
12. I recently picked up a second hand GWB35, which is absolutely amazing, so I can only imagine how good this is!
13.
Sorry to hear you've got to let it go. Great bass! Scott is an absolute gent to deal with too. GLWTS! I LOVE the P5 btw
Yeah, Chris, the surgery has been on the cards for years; it's just that I've only recently plucked up the courage to go through with it...both knees (not at the same time), three ligaments detached, re-sited and reattached, with bone grafts thrown in for good measure...I can't wait Thanks for the kind words, bud, and I'm glad that you're enjoying the Precision V. Take it easy, Kert.
14.
What, just one bass you NEED?
Haha, yeah, today that is. Mrs S disagrees and says that it's a passing phase and that I've said this kinda thing..."once or twice before"
15. I'm putting this up for sale due only to the fact that there is one, particular, bass that's out there for sale atm that I need (not want but NEED!). If the object of my desire should evade me then I'll withdraw this ad' because the Sandy is quality in its own right. Walnut facing with mahogany core body. Maple neck with rosewood unlined fingerboard. 35" scale. Gold hardware. Pickups are a bridge humbucker and neck split coil. 3 band EQ, volume, pan and active/passive switching. Included Sandberg heavy duty gig bag, with Sandberg tools. The bass is in perfect condition; totally free of ding, dink, blemish or other nasty. Based on the Wirral. Happy to courier at the buyer's expense. Thanks to moonbass for the use of the pics.
16.
I am trying so, so hard not to make an offer on this....
Oh, Jim, please, just do it and put me out of my misery
17. Oh, good grief! This is serving no benefit whatsoever to my plan to save money prior to having knee surgery...must resist, must resist! Free bump for one sexy fretless 5-er.
18. Yeah, I've had this only a few weeks... Picked up as part of a trade/cash deal with FuNkShUi (I hope that you're enjoying the P5, Kert!). To begin with, I actually found the uber-comfortable and ergonomically designed Thumb a bit "awkward", such was my being used to larger body dimensions, but I eventually adapted and grew into it making playing an absolute pleasure. The sound was, of course, spot on from day one! I hope that Chris doesn't mind me half-inching his work...(Kert's previous ad' info')... "So, this is a German built Warwick thumb neck through. Growly tone, that punches through the mix better than anything I've used before. The truss rod is basically untouched and the frets are also in excellent condition. This is a superb example of an early Thumb." It comes with a tweed case. Courier delivery isn't a problem (at the buyer's expense). Based on the Wirral. I will now consider trades for a US/Jap' Fender Precision or Jazz with cash my way. Cheers, peeps.
19. I've just received an Ibanez GWB 35...prompt delivery and the bubble wrap was taped so neatly and securely that I struggled to get it open...which is a good thing, lol. I wouldn't hesitate to deal again with BassJamm! Cheers, Jamie!
20. Kert'...the Warwick Thumb arrived as expected; on time and packaged like a pro. The whole trade/cash deal for my Fender P5 has been quick, easy, fuss-free and with a few laughs along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to buy/sell again with Chris in the future; a thoroughly decent fella. Cheers, bud'
21.
Ive reviewed the four string. It's really nice and the Aguilar pickups sound superb. You'll need to scroll through my posts here to find the magazine issue in which I covered the bass: http://basschat.co.u...16#entry2645016
Cheers, dood, thanks for the heads up and the review, mate!
22.
That bass is so wrong that it might be right. Scott_S, are you the Matrix?
Nah, mate, I've never been an employee of Merseyside Police nor involved in gun crime
