hmm any bass player who can show off , or showcase, but not ruin the song at the same time. I havent really listened to alot of wooten, so i cant get an opinion on it, except i do sorta like his old stuff rather than his new stuff, seems to have gone in another direction, one which i am not particularly fond of. and erm. definatly Jeff Berlin, great guy.

1) What do you look for in a music shop? I prefer to buy stuff from a shop because its more of an expierience if your buying a new bass. but id prefer a cheaper price, so try to match net prices closely. selling online would be good 2) What would you ideally like to see in a music shop? Id like to see quality things for bass such as nice strings and accessories, thick straps, strap locks, bass effects. 3) How far would you travel? Not too far, im a student, no car, no nothing , so 5 miles? maybe 10? 4) Am I mad to consider this? No, the much shop near me (ABC music in Hounslow) closed, and now i have no were to go to get stuff done, and i have to travel twice as far to another shop to get stuff done.

hey, thanks man, much appreciated, i think that means my bridge is fine then i hope, im fitting a badass 2 soon, so ill probably have to shim it then anyways, my camera is bad, but comparing your photo to mine, its pretty much the same, and the guy i bought it off is from basschat aswell, said he has gigged and recorded with it in the past, and it hasnt given him problems. so i guess ill leave it untill i get the badass. Hey, i figured that if i place a shim on the body side of the neck pocket, it would push the whole neck back a little, meaning i could adjust the saddles so their higher, Theirs no shims in the neck pocket.

Hey, ive just bought this bass, and i kinda think i need to do something about the bridge, because i havent had a bass with something like this before What im refering to is the saddles being so low to the plate thing, and the screws being at an angle.., Is this normal?

I actually bought a bass by accident off ebay whilst looking for a guitar, i couldnt be assed to refund, so i just took to it, never looked back since (only been playinf 2 and ahalf years though) im still loving it.

Nice Bass, Damn, i thought the Pro was the one with Bartolini's in it, Those EMG's look like they sound reaaal Good, i love the finish on it, i actually bought a cheaper 5 String Dean Edge Model in Red from the States and it got here broken, had a crack in the Headstock so i sent it back, im thinking of going for a Pro now, Is it worth it? by the sounds of it your really enjoying it, Have Fun Live Long and Prosperous (ARGH STAR TREKKK)

I duno if artist use the signature models for recording something which me and a teacher of mine were discussing is the Jaco Pastorius Signature Fender Jazz fretless bass, i dont understand why or how you can make that, Jaco took a jazz bass, ripped the frets out and put a load of crap on the neck so he didnt damage the wood, and not only that, he f'ed arround with the polarity alot to get the great sound he has. So unless fender have done all that in their factory i dont think they shuld have made it (i know it was done ages ago) , its just a money making method IMO. And... they cant get the exact sound he had because no1 knows where his two fender's are, they were stolen after he died werent they? (and he used alot of playing styles, eg. the intro to birdland)

Im not sure, i think the dude is gona pay some of the postage because he says he wants to post it with fed ex air or something, 5 days it takes he said, duno though still waiting for it to be posted. And woot, im a fully fledged member now (3 bars)
