1. A while ago i was gassing for Danelectro DC59 bass, as i love the danelectro style, but due to them being rare as toothed rocking hens droppings, i started looking at the Hodad bass reissue, but due to them also being quite rare and a bit too expensive for me at £300-£500 decided against it and resolved my GAS issues by throwing my money all over the Thomann deko page! as time passed i forgot how much i wanted one and pushed them out of my mind until today when i was having one of daily eBay scouts and came across a Ex-demo Hodad bass in black (if it was blue it would have been perfect but you cant have everything) for what i think is a good price at £175 buy it now, so i snapped it up, hopefully it will arrive Thursday and i can have a muck about with it at practice! its always nice when something randomly pops up! now i can try and emulate some Fat Mike. and it should hopefully keep me entertained till i can finally get hold of a DC59! obligatory picture also included and will take more when it arrives! 7. Little update on my PJ HTR with the horrible dead spots, put in a new nut and some set up and now it's fully playable, the actions only a little bit higher than I like but it'll do for what I want! Next is to swap out the horrific scratchplate!

9.
Hahahaha, sneaky!!! I don't suppose you mind sharing what app you use? I installed page monitor into chrome the other week to see if that'd let me know about any updates, but with no luck =( Just seen that a few of the PJ HTR deluxe's have gone too, damn!!!
It's actully the one in chrome, it just gives a little green notification in the corner, then let's you see what's changed by highlighting things green for new and red for removed
10. Iv got the mobile site open on my work PC desktop pretty much all day with an app that tells me when the page updates, it's cheating really!
11. i duno, 2 bad necks out of 8 dekos is probably quite good!
12. i fiinally got and unplayable deko come through a PJ-4 HTR. MASSIVE dead spot on the 1st and 2nd fret on the D and G looks like the neck has a hump just there, but the body is perfect and is missing the D stamp! so gona be looking for a neck. anyone know what the ones on ebay are like that come from china, there about £30! (£10 more than the deko bass but still cheap and come in maple!)

Budda chakra, usually find them around £50. love mine, purchased it because of the positive review on Onvilab https://www.fairdealmusic.co.uk/budda-chakra-compressor-pedal.html?gclid=CjwKEAiAmeyxBRCJxoKk7IWLl2oSJABvZjhhXAnUB1TOVWs5upVi-cWTy__2UfU6egl0QaxzCWg7AhoC0vvw_wcB http://www.ovnilab.com/reviews/chakra.shtml
17. I'm tempted to get a HB P bass to A/B to a Kramer Focus P bass from the 80's i have recently been GIVEN! i'm interested to see the difference in a budget bass then to one now!
18. iv a set of these that came with my precision, i expected to change them out pretty quick but actually really like them on it so they've been on for months and iv bought another set for my backup P
19. Iv got fender nylon tape wounds on my 4 string fretless progressive and there very nice, think i got them for £20 (but this is my fretless and my first set of tape wounds so i could be hideously wrong on the subject!)
20. electric guitars seem to go ludicrously quick! iv got one of the PRS copies and its quite nice!
21. It's definitely morally wrong to me, I don't know enough about the law to comment on legality
22. that yellow one is sickening! i might have a go at a headstock reshape on my PB50 now though!
23. say £299 to me! it depends whether you think they've put £270 worth of work into it i supose
24. i picked up one of these of ebay for £50 http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Intellitouch_freedom_one.html and its been great, had to mod the jack transmiter a bit ( i say "mod" i put velcro on it) as it would move around and slap against the bass body during over excited on stage moments. i only use it off and on depending on stage sound and the built in tuner is a nice touch but it hasn't let me down. before that i had a £40 samson kit for around 3 years that only broke when i erm.... trood on it...
