  10. They are all a bit fussy and bling for my taste. I feel the same about most new Aston Martins. I can still appreciate them though and understand the appeal.
  11. I was looking at some Mackintosh furniture and had similar thoughts. It’s all right but these Arts and Craft dudes need a bit of SteamPunk. Edit: I think telling some of the world’s most admired and respected luthiers to get lessons definitely warrants a few 😂😂😂 emoji’s
  12. Foxy Lady - Jimi Hendrix
  13. I’ve not found any issue with the hardware. Pros of Sandberg: German engineering and high attention to detail. Very modern and refined take on classic P, J and MM bass. Cons of Sandberg: German engineering and high attention to detail. Very modern and refined take on classic P, J and MM bass. Some may find the sound and styling a bit lacking in “warmth”character and “vibe”.

  18. I hope I don’t need to do that. I don’t think you can still buy the Woolworths “Top20” range of instruments.
  19. Nah it’s boring
  20. Yep they are pretty bland:
  21. I have no idea. Never played one and TBH have no real inclination to own one. If we go back to the super car analogy I am glad other people buy them. I appreciate the engineering and aesthetics but I would never want to own one. I’d rather have a garage full of eclectic vintage vehicles and a modern reliable run around. Same with instruments.
  22. You may as well ask the question are you good enough to drive a super-car. I’m sure everyone that buys one thinks they are but hardly any of them have the skills to get the best performance from the car. If you have the funds and desire why not though. You only live once.
  23. Personally I would give the dremel method to cut a slot in the broken screw a try first, failing that go round the screw in circles with the dremel and plug with a dowel. I’ve used the second method to remove broken machine head screws a few times. It does leave a largish hole to plug. These guys are a useful resource: https://plugitwood.co.uk/collections/plugs/products/maple-flat-cross-grain-plugs?variant=31721128820772
