    Virtually unused Fender Vintera Precision. Upgraded roasted maple neck Schaller machine heads The bass has recently been set up by a local luthier to give a really nice action. For trade only. To adhere to forum rules I have put a guesstimate price. No idea what it’s worth as I don’t think Fender sell a roasted maple neck version at the moment. The neck has to be bought separately. I imported the neck and body from the USA I have switched to Jazz width necks now so sadly this needs a new home. I would rather trade then sell so am open to suggestions and am also happy to put a bit of cash into the deal if you have a more expensive bass.

    If I had to take a moral stance and ensure musicians I admired lived up to a ethical or even expected standards of social norms I would be stuffed. Just imagine the metaphorical Christmas party. James Brown, Miles Davis and John Lennon in fine fettle. Shane MacGowan, Jim Morrison and Mark E Smith having a festive tipple and sing song joined by Nick Cave on piano with little Richard entertaining the youngsters. Fitting new locks on the bathroom before Chuck Berry rolls in and please nobody ask Mr Hendrix to keep an eye on the Turkey. The man’s a total space cadet. Edit: And I haven’t even mentioned Keith Moon ..

    I have a MIJ Hondo Professional which is one of my favourite basses. I’ve sold on US Fenders, MIM Fenders and have hung onto it. I’ve also played a Hondo 2. It was shite.
