  2. Forgot what a great tune this is. Does anyone have a link to the bass tab or a tutorial?

  5. Thanks for getting back to me. Would have bought it but it does save me from having to sell a Vintera P and then a trip to Bournemouth!
  6. I keep coming back to this. Is it still available?

  16. I’ve only ever played one Yamaha bass. It was a Billy Sheehan attitude 2 and was a lovely bass but the neck was a bit too chunky for my taste.

  18. Nice. I’ve not seen one in the flesh as it were but watched several demo’s on YouTube. The only bridge’s I was aware of that would adjust sideways for string spacing were the Schaller 3D and I have one on a Vintera which is basically a BBOT with a bunch of grooves on the saddles which is a bit more primitive. Good luck with your build. I was going to call on your expertise at some point to fit a Status Graphite neck on my MIJ Geddy Lee …. Another Bitsa and the final one. I’m going to spend more time after this learning to play them better!

  21. Just a quick post in praise of the Hipshot Kickass bridge. I have nearly completed a Bitsa P build marrying a 1996 US P neck I have had on various basses over the years with an ‘86 US Elite body. Due to the position of the route for the missing bridge (and being unable to source an original) I used a Kickass bridge as it’s big enough to cover the route. Really impressed with the quality of these and the brass saddles are adjustable sideways which is perfect for getting the string spacing right (which can be a right pain on some Bitsa builds). Bit pricey but pleased with the quality.

  23. Yep that was the interesting period. I didn’t like much of their mid 80’s stuff TBH. I was really into Skinny Puppy however who arguably wouldn’t have existed without Caberet Voltaire.
  24. True (very late 70’s and 1980) but we’re several years ahead of their time and didn’t get recognition till the’80’s. Cabaret Voltaire wasn’t a good example though as it was named after a venue.
  25. I had one of these for a while. It was a pretty decent bass. In the Squire CV ballpark. £350 is reasonable and as @Bassassinsays you are unlikely to lose money if you change your mind.
