1.
Sweet baby jesus. That my friend may be the best bass I have ever seen on BC.
Thanks. But unfortunatley I have eventually come to realise i am a jazz bass guy, but also my roadworn precision is the best sounding and playing P bass I have ever had the privilage to own/play if i need that sound.

6. Hi, I have decided to thin out my collection so I have for sale a beautiful Fender Custom shop 54 P bass in a stunning blue sparkle finish. The bass has been lighlty reliced and has some beautiful checking on the paint which is more evident on the back of the bass. This is a one off in this colour and I believe this to be the only one of its kind in exisitence. Comes with Case, certificate and all case candy. Only trades I would be interested in would be an orignal 70's jazz but must have a maple board, a stingray 5 (with cash adjustment) again with maple board or possibly a dingwall combustion. I live in Northern ireland so buyer must be prepared to pay shipping on this. I have attached photos as best I can. Looking £1550.00 for this which I think is a great price for such an original bass.
7. Does this have the rotary tone control?
8. Would you ship this bass?
9. Does this come with the Sadowsky case?
10. Expensive lesson learned. I would never dream of taking my Sadowsky to a pub gig for the same reason.
11. Aggghh....Just seen this is it still avialble?????? Dave
12. Hi, Would you ship this to Northern Ireland?
13. Hi, A few years ago i stupidly sold my lakland Jo Osborn DPLE bass on these very forums. From what I can tell it has changed hands a few times since then and the last person i have traced it to was Philly who I think sold it on. Just curious to see if it is still with someone who is on the forums. As may be interested in buying it back if the chance arose. Its one of those basses that i never thought i would miss but have just seen some pics of me playing it and I really really miss that bass lol. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers Dave
14. Hi, I had been looking at this very bass on bass direct web site before you bought it. Beautiful bass and Garry Tallent is one of my favourite players. Can i ask a question? Do you have a choice to run the pick-ups as two single coils rather than the soapbars? According to the blurb on the spector site this is possible. Have you tried the bass this way and if so what did it sound like? My prefered option would have been 2 j pick-ups and I am still contemplating ordering one in that configuration, but still undecided. Thanks Dave
15. Cool......please give me an update.....still really interested in one of these
16. Which one did you order active or passive?????
17. Does this come with t original certificate ?
18. Hi, I am thinking seriously about buying one of the above mentioned basses. I have seen one youtube clip of it at winter Namm but has anyone played one in the flesh. I am thinking of the active model with the natural finish. Any views/reviews advice welcome. Also would this bass work of with a drop d-tuner or would it not be practical with it being a short scale? Cheers Dave
19. Have you got the cover for the bridge pick-up?
20. Serial number suggests 77-78 ...if thats any use Dave
21. Sweet!!!!!!! Any trades?
22. What year was the bass made?
