2.
up! now on ebay....really need to shift it as I have no space! Stuff everywhere, drives me crazy!
u have a PM sir
 3. thanks for the replies so far.... i agree about the squire 5's I had one a few years ago and last I heard Andrew Flintoff is now using it as a cricket bat!!!!!
 4. Hi, looking for a 5 string but looking for one with the a narrow neck... I have got small hands and because of medication I am on for an illness one of the side affects tends to be pins and needles in my hand after playing for a while so it has to be a narrow profile neck with a narrow string spacing. I am currently using a drop D tuner but would love a 5 string. Was originally thinking either a musicman or A Lakkie JO. dont know anyone near me that has any so havent tried just relying on the wealth of expert knowledge on these forums!!! ....any comments appreciated. Dave
 5. Will now also consider trades for Stingray 5 or JO 5
 6.
*argh* need... need... want... should go to a good home - have a bump for a beautiful bass! (don't need a Valenti P do you?) Mustn't sell it. *damn*
Would be tempted with the Valenti if it wasn't for the fact i have 3 P basses already and need the money to fund something else
 7.
As you probably know I had one of these and can vouch for there quality and sound and rareity. Im very tempted as im looking for a Jazz! Bestest ever slimest neck ive ever come across. Bump
I can second that on the bestest slimest neck ever. I actually orderd a Jo neck for my Bg bass exactly the same spec as the on on the DPLE from lakland and its the nicest playing p bass I have ever played
 8.
Gah!!! Dave what are you doing to me!? I can't afford to buy any more Laklands!! But I damn sure want this Trade for DJ4?
Sorry mate !!!! Still glad your loving the DJ4 it was a great bass I must admit I do miss it!!!!
 9. Only 24 of these basses were ever made and only 4 with the maple board option. I believe there maybe three DPLE1's in the UK(including this one) but this is the only one I know of in europe with the maple board. These left the factory with a j-retro installed as standard at present i have this converted to a passive bass with a fender stack knob control plate fitted and the capacitors have been changed out to sprague orange drops. These thing sounds the business with the stock fralin pickups. The J-retro will be included in the sale so you have the option to revert back to the original configuration. The scratch plate has been changed from the stock minty green guard to black pearl, but original guard also included in the sale. Finally the bass has been fitted with green FRETFX LED side markers, I am afraid when I bought this from the states that no case was included, but will include a gig bag. Looking around £800.00 for this plus postage from Northern Ireland this price includes the two wiring options, two scratch plates and the FRETFX markers which is over and above normal spec. Will now also consider trades for Stingray 5 or a 5'er with a narrow string spacing. 16.
If you were going to buy a vintage bass without looking at it first you need your head seen to. If you were going to do it on ebay with 0 a feedback seller and poor quality pics then I have no sympathy.
I bought my '68 P bass of ebay ....all original for £800.00 (I knew it was worth at least twice that)....albeit the guy had over 200 positive feedback. i know this is a scam thats why I posted it in the first place.
