After a break from playing i've been loving my Sterling 4HH in Trans Gold lately - checked out the website and they've totally decimated that range, 2 colours and single humbucker only?! Also can't believe the price these basses are running, I ordered mine through Bassdirect about 10 years ago and think I paid £1550! Calling their budget range "Sterling" is a crazy shout too, but I imagine there's already been plenty ranting on that front 😂

Thanks Paddy! Checked out a few more demos on youtube and it's definitely up my street - few surplus pedals hitting the classifieds this weekend I think!

How are we rating this for use as a wee set-up for practice and potentially doing cover videos etc? Can't see myself gigging again any time soon so not too interested in putting it in front of an amp or going live DI... Headphones, cab sim and aux-in make this seem like a good contender for my needs? Another option could be the Vintage Microtubes V2 - anyone compared the two?

Correct mate, ot was a regular JJ and they've picked up part of the original route for the P pickup. If memory serves; previous owner sent it off to someone on here that used to do it for folk. Not sure who but they made a neat job of it

Cleaned up pretty well and it's nicely equiped with a set of Quarter Pounders and a Badass II. Thinking I might turn it into a wee project... Excuse the mess, im on a quick break from refitting the bathroom 😂

Recommissioning a Jazz I bought from.a pal last year, been lying in bits since then. The Fender decal's flaking off and the serial no. doesn't seem to bring any results. The neck's pretty bashed up anyway so I might punt it for cheap on here and grab a Player Series neck for it. What say you guys?

Late to the party here but I guess; what Perfectionbg said! Japanese Fenders can definitely be on-par with the US stuff. This is the cheapest on Reverb last I checked too, with a couple being listed well over a grand. Doesn't seem to be a time for selling expensive guitars but we'll hold on. Down to £900.

Up for sale is my crafted in Japan Fender Jag bass. Bought it around 6 months ago from Bassbros and in that time it's seen less than 10 hours play from me. It's an awesome bass and I would love to keep it but last in, first out. Just haven't been playing much to warrant keeping it when I have other hobbies to see to! In great knick for going on 16 year old. Bit of tarnishing on the tuners and bridge, electronics are a bit scratchy but work fine, few light scratches on the body and a couple small dings to the clearcoat (none through the paint) Neck and headstock are immaculate. It's a bit neck-divey due to the design but a suede backed strap keeps that in check. I think it's sounds awesome in active mode. Looking for what I paid for it - £1000 and i'll cover the ppstage to the UK. No hardcase but it will be in a (admittedly crappy) Stagg gigbag that it came with and packaged up very well, insured to full price etc. Just grabbed a couple quick photos can easy get more detailed ones if required. No trades, got plans for my motorbike over winter and another bass won't help with that 😂 cheers

Yeah mate this is the very one, I didn't hang about once I saw it!

Came across this kind of accidently after being in the market for a 70s style Jazz with blocks, matching headstock, etc. Played one of these many years ago and remembered really liking it so I pulled the trigger and it arrived yesterday, it's in pretty awesome knick for a 2006 and these seem to be hard to come by now so im very pleased! Not had a chance to plug in yet but first impression are very nice, update to follow...

Picked up an ABM410 EVO a couple years ago but it only saw some real volume from my Shuttlemax 12.0 for the first time recently, very nice, solid cab and I think they look well cool. Fancying a head to go with it for something different, does anyone know what the ABM600 pumps out at 8ohm? Im assuming 350w-ish? High chance i'll get a 210 or 115 to go with it so I probably will have the full 4ohm before long, while im still young and fit!

Darkglass Super Symmetry and Aguilar Filter Twin

Yeah obviously just buying a lefthanded neck is no use because the side dots will be on the underside. Guitarbuild.co.uk could be a shout, not sure if you can chose the grade of the maple though, I have a 1-piece Ash Strat body from them and it's very nice. Failing that, I'd be looking at importing from Warmoth. Been fancying a Reverse Headstock Jazz for myself!

Both boxed, in used but decent condition with velcro on the bottom. Just a couple of quick photos off my pedal board but I'll get some better shots up after work. Super Symmentry - SOLD Filter Twin - £115 - ON HOLD Includes tracked UK postage. Haven't frequented the forum much in the past couple years but ebay feedback can be seen here: https://feedback.ebay.co.uk/fdbk/feedback_profile/stuartramsay11 Cheers

Watched a couple of demos, not as confusing an interface as I initially thought... And while 500 bones is a huge amount for pedal, it does have the potential to replace at least a couple of pedals, especially if the tuner's solid and reliable. I've never owned a DG distortion but I've given the Neural plug-in a go and liked it, and I've got the super Symmetry Compressor. Could maybe see this in my future. The comment about pub toilets and the rotary footswitches is completely valid too hahaha

Awesome man looks very sleek! I've been fancying another Spector lately; had a Euro 5LX years ago but the B was surplus to requirements and it was a heavy beast. The Classic is weight-relieved like the Euro LT?
