    It is with deep regret that my beloved 78p is up for sale. This bass is simply awesome, she's all original bar a tiny drill hole in the scratch plate where someone fitted a 'kill switch'. Lovely flamed maple on the neck with plenty of fret life and she plays and sounds superb.     I have two of these beauties, but I'm more of a lover of maple fingerboards so I'm moving this one on to fund another purchase. Hand on heart, and as a P bass fanatic whose owned loads of high end P's these Japanese made Vintage Four basses rate as high as any. GAK were selling them at well over £2000 when they came out. Anyway, she's in very good condition, plays like a dream and sounds awesome. Trials welcomed.
