1. Industry standard D.I box. An awesome piece of kit in great condition.
 2. Classic overdrive in great condition. This is the Mosfet version which allows you to switch from original to Mosfet. What I like about this pedal is that the overdrive is works with the original signal and sounds more natural rather than some of the more modern drives where you can here two voices, one normal and one 'fizzy', this pedal goes from slight break up to full on 'face melting'. 3. No but I could meet you half way, should be 45 mins travel.
 4.
Replied, no postage sorry
How hard can it be to put it in a box and wait for a Courier to pick it up?
 5. Price drop. Now a silly £1200, a bass I'm after has come on the market and I need to move fast!
 6. Here we have a very fine Luthier built 51p bass by Joseph Kaye Guitars. It's one year old and has had home use only so it's in 'as new' condition with a light relic finish. It's made from the finest maple and ash using hide glue as Fender did back in the day. It has wonderful 'crazing' on the nitro cellulose finish and the pickups are also made and had wound by Joe (Sonic Monkey). This is one special bass weighing in at around 8.5 pounds and sounds beautiful. Hard case included. Joe's made guitars for Wilko Johnson and Norman Watt-Roy to name just a couple. This bass will set you back £3500 plus six months waiting time if you want a new one. However, all Joseph's guitars have an 18 month 'guitar management warranty' irrespective of ownership in which he makes sure anything and everything is how the owner want's it. First on the list though is a 60th anniversary blackguard Precision. 7. If it's all factory original then it's birth date can't be earlier than it's latest date stamp.
 8.
Thanks, I find that diming the mids will make it louder, but will also make it sound dreadful and just not usable in any meaningful way. The enhance button, apparently unlike other Eden models, works at about the same frequency as the mid pot (i.e. 550 Hz, which itself isn't usually a frequency band that gives me any trouble) which seems a bit like a belt and suspenders, so that's never engaged. At any rate, I don't particularly like the smiley face eq thing. My Jazz is scooped enough all by itself It almost sounds like I don't like the amp, but I really do. It's just not powerful enough.
Ah, so your using both pickups on the Jazz, that explains a lot. When it's just you and the Jazz , both pickups sounds the best, but with the band, the neck pickup on it's own is way louder and has stronger low mids.
 9.
I forgot! I checked the other day, and it was a non-pro SVT III. Sounds nice and pillowy, but it only just cut it with my two cabs. That AG 700 looks like it would really hit the spot, but I'm guessing it'll come with an eye watering price tag...
Stick with the Eden it should bury your drummer! boost your mids, also be careful where you have the 'enhance control' as it tends to 'scoop if used to excess. And don't worry too much about the peak lights coming on.
 10.
Hi folks, I'm hoping that some of you can point me in the right direction. I've been playing bass for around 18-months now. I play as part of a progressive rock bank (classic 70's style prog more than modern prog-metal). I'm currently using a cheap Ashdown Mi-Bass class D head. I picked it up as a discounted B-stock item back when I first started playing. But it's really not doing it for me. My issues with it are:

The pre-amp has a 'tube sim' circuit that means that it can't really do clean at any reasonable volume. It'll do perfectly acceptable clean at volumes suitable for my front room, but once you raise the gain even a little you hear a definite grit. Quite nice for a gritty sound but not something I always want present in my playing. There is never any chance of getting it loud enough to be heard in a moderate rock-band mix while sounding properly clean

The EQ on the amp is passive, and therefore not very useful if I want to poke a little more mids etc in order to sit better in the mix. We have two guitars, a piano and myself (& drums and singer) so being able to fine-tune myself into an appropriate sonic space would be very useful. Right now I can get a nice kind of vintage tone from the amp but I do get lost in the mix when the guitars are doing their thing.
It's not a bad amp, but it's not a great one either. I have a bit of spare cash to hand right now, and we've got a few gigs coming up soon so it might be a great time to think about upgrading. I'm after something reasonably light. I'd love to stick with a class-D given how portable they are, but I would take a heavier (think Hartke HA3500, rather than say Ampeg SVT tube!) head necessary. The trouble is that locally I cannot find many different heads in stock to try. I've had a little noodle on an Eden head which I found a bit dull and lifeless. I've also tried a cheaper TC Electronic BH250 and was not especially blown away by that either. Aside from these the stores around here pretty much only stock either crazy expensive gear (SVT tube heads) or cheap practice amps (Fender Rumble 150 etc.) So could anyone perhaps point me toward a few options that might suit my needs. I know it'll be a matter of personal choice but without being able to actually pop out and try some of these amps I'm a little confused as to where to start.
If it's 70's prog tones your after then Markbass may not be the way to go (as good as they are, before I get ripped), look for something where you have the option for some grind. My vote goes to the Genz Benz Streamliner. Don't forget that your cab choice is just as critical.
 11.
Would you be prepared to courier it, or is it pick up only?
Sure, Courier is fine.
 12. Great bass this one, 8/10 condition, the odd little body chip and surface mark, the frets are in good order, Grover tuners, decent bridge and made in Japan.
