1. Just got some ACS 15's through Boots the Chemist's hearing centre. Fifteen minutes for the examination and do the moulds. £125 delivered in two weeks. Best I've tried but guitar and vocal frequencies are affected slightly.
2.
Interested! What year is it from?
I don't know, sorry.
3. I liked mine, one sound as mentioned, very vintage. Love it or hate it I've never heard one described as plonky or dead! maybe there was a fault with the one you tried.
4. Am I missing something? how do you know it's a 'steal' or a 'bargain before the auction's finished?
5.
trades?
Not after trading for anything specific but that shouldn't stop anyone asking.

7. Lovely bass this one, great condition, just a few small nicks on the back at the bottom but you have to look to find them. Sounds and plays just as it should.
8. I think this is the closest I've come to hating another Basschatter!
9. Yes, SB2 as the topic title states. The wiring is as you would expect a P bass pickup to be?
10. Very good condition, £45 delivered. Summary Hot rodded split-coil P-Bass pickup with added warmth and punch gives you a bigger, meaner tone than the Vintage model. Description If you are a fan of P-bass tone but need a little more push, the Hot P-Bass pickup gives you a the tonal and output burst you need. Built similarly to our Vintage model, the Hot for P-Bass uses a custom high output coil winding for increased low-end response and a fuller sound. What exactly does that mean Basically your P-Bass just got a whole lot better. Its aggressive attack makes it a great pickup for heavier musical styles. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for any American Standard Precision Bass. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Hot for P-Bass uses hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets, forbon flatwork, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation. Comes with black cover.
