1. I love this place so much. I go to sleep and wake up to find my inbox swarmed.
2. I finally get around to realising that this thread still exists. Life got in the way and thusly, I managed to completely neglect my account. My sincere apologies for those who were interested before. Anyway, this is back up. My circumstances have changed and I don't even get the time to play it, let alone arrange shipping. If you can pick it up from West Sussex, it's yours. Thanks for reading!
3. Hello, everybody. I've got a G&L L2000 Tribute that I got in part in exchange and unfortunately, I'm working non-stop and thusly never get to play it. In pretty decent condition but could do with a setup, otherwise, it's a great bass. If you can pick it up, it's your for £200. Comes with a softcase too. As this is a fatigue induced post, please feel free to send me questions away. I'm more than happy to answer them! I'm based in West Sussex.
4. I'm definitely down for this. I couldn't make the last ones because I couldn't afford it (going between jobs) but I'll be able to bring some lovely gear!
5. I've got a bunch of books for you, Mr.T! Drop me a message and I'll drop 'em round to you when I get a free moment.
6.
Rumour has it that this is the Very Bass which Mozart was using when he posed for this portrait: Honest.
These are brilliant. If this was a 5 string, I'd be hunting you down for it. Bravo for creativity!
7. Phwoar. What a nice bass! GLWTS.
8. Yay! Music science stuff.
9. Yo! Might need some pictures for the thread to flourish. Good luck with the sale.
10. Have a bump! Lovely bass.
11.
It wasn't an observation regarding SWR amps, it was the Bass 350 and 750 specifically vs other SWR heads. If you haven't gigged it, bear in mind it's quite a lot less powerful in practice than an SM400 despite the similar power rating. I gigged an SWR Grand Prix for years, it was a great sounding preamp.
Considering the quality of your cabs, that's a hell of an endorsement.
12. Personally, I've never been a fan of the MarkBass stuff. What works for some, I guess!
13.
Some amps are switchable for voltage but some require a transformer. When you look at the dream price don't forget to add shipping and then add another 25-30% for customs duty plus VAT plus handling charge.
£450 still isn't bad! Then again, I have no idea about the transformer cost.
14. A little bit left of centre. Go on!
15. BUMP. Is the array of Snickers included?
16. Just saw my dream amp head out in the US for a dream price. However, I'm a little bit unsure if I'd need to watch out for transition for voltages and all sorts. Any advice?
17. This has been a hilariously entertaining read. Well trolled!
18. Bump. Fantastic seller to deal with. Even if you're unsure how to do the sale properly, mojobass has the patience of a saint.
19. Absolutely fantastic to deal with. Did a part exchange and really patient considering I had never used PayPal. He waited whilst I fumbled around trying to sort it and always answered questions really quickly. We need more like this!
20.
Thinking about going travelling soon, and wondered if anyone on here has ever taken a bass and gone travelling with the intention of discovering music and learning about the local music?
I've always wanted to do this. Travel the US and Southern America, perhaps? Drop me a message about it all.
21.
Hello, is this a MIJ SR? Thank you Cheers Alex
It sure is. It's a first year model as well (noting the red on the original pickups).
22. Props for perhaps the funkiest finish I've ever seen on a Musicman!
