    Yes I hate to have to leave it as good feedback especially over a large number of transactions is hard won, but the seller does trade instruments and should have seen the issues with the bass I bought. Aside from this, I am still waiting for an echeque to clear for my refund and the seller also asked me to pay for the return postage ( I quoted ebay policy for defective items and she arranged collection in the end)so it has been a negative experience.

    I like Elixir's as the coating gives them a slippery feel - I've got NYXL's on another bass - they sound great but the Elixir's are better . The DR DT drop tuning strings are also really comfortable I've also just tried a set of D'addario half rounds which I really like and they might be the compromise you are looking for.( They do seem to get extremely mixed reviews though).

    In Adrian Maruszyck's words the bass had been 'pickled' - he said he'd never produced that bass with that finish and the pickups weren't original. Not too mention is was unplayable, sanded back to the wood and unsealed.

    Boxed in good condition with a set of Behringer headphones. Collection from Liverpool preferred but can post at cost.

    Did you knock the price down any for the bad bits which should have been described ? Spend the money it looks lovely ! Get a nice tort scratchplate for it too

    Now £850 - -save yourself some money and a wait ! Maruszczyk Jazzus 4a Custom in mint condition with gig bag. One of the best (if not the best) bass I've owned . Spec as per the video of the actual bass below. Hit me up with any interesting trade offers - completely open minded as long as in excellent condition Collection from Liverpool preferred but happy for you to arrange a courier at your risk and expense.
