Really versatile piece of kit.

Truly gorgeous !

Had this bass longer than all of my custom stuff and its in excellent condition (9.5 out of 10). It cost me £1200 when I bought it new. Contoured for comfort, yet making a definitive style statement, the Lodestone Primal Artist Bass combines traditional and modern materials to steer bass development into an exciting new era. Carefully selected tone woods are used in construction – alder for the body, Indian rosewood for the fingerboard and hard rock maple for the slim, narrow and smooth neck, which features a 2-way adjustable truss rod. The contoured body design enables funk players unprecedented access beneath the strings for dramatic pulls, while the body cutaways combine with a sculpted neck joint to provide easy access to every fret. [b]Laidback Headstock[/b] Another important Lodestone breakthrough is the LaidBack headstock which angles the tuners backwards, making them much more accessible for comfortable, convenient tuning. This radical design also facilitates an optimized string path, further ensuring the integrity of the instrument.(Similar to a T bass) [b]Ceramic bridge saddles[/b] The new Primal Pro 4-string active bass uses precision-engineered ceramic bridge saddles. This ultra-hard material (as used in the braking systems of racing cars) enhances the transmission of string vibration through the body of the instrument, increasing clarity, dynamics and sustain. Sonic performance is enhanced yet further by the use of individual custom bridge pieces which are set deep into the body of the instrument, and dual carbon fiber rods which run the length of the neck to eliminate dead spots. [b]Pickups [/b] EMG Hyperactive pickups are used in a classic J configuration, and are amplified by Lodestone high-output, low noise active circuit, with controls provided for volume (x2), bass and treble. I need to sell my Mensinger Cazpar 5A - Active 5 string short scale(30") . The bass has a spalted maple top and is in mint condition. Adrian set up the bass for me in piccolo tuning E-C but it can easily be changed back to conventional bass tuning with new strings and a nut adjustment. In terms of trades I have an open mind - needs a nice thin neck ( IIbanez SR like) and must be mint !

Awesome bass which plays like a dream - how about £1 a week for 1200 weeks ?
