1. Adrian is great to deal with too !
2. I've just sold one, it was a lovely looking guitar and really nice to play but I thought the electrics in it were pants so my experience was also in line with everything stated above. Pick one up for cheap and get it upgraded.
3. I know , I think it is the same bass. The markings in the grain look identical
4.
I think he meat this one: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/221420202877?nav=SEARCH
5. Is it this one http://basschat.co.uk/topic/124283-sold-cort-elrick-5-sold/ doesn't seem like such a bargain now.
6. Fancied a new acoustic so I took myself down to Dawsons in Liverpool to check out the guitars. It was really quiet so I could pretty much try as many as I wanted. I had a budget of 500 so had quite a few options but ended up picking up the Talman for 209 quid and haven't put it down all weekend. Lovely thin neck with a nice low action and it looks stunning for the money. I'm far from being a great guitarist but for anybody looking for something to dabble with I'd certainly recommend it. 7. Not wishing to promote a stereotype but while inside one in Liverpool, taxis were pulling up and waiting while blokes in tracksuits tried to offload tellies ! And they only offered me 25 quid for my Indie Rickenfaker.
8. Hi Steve, Did you sell it ?
9. Hi pinball what condition is it in - any marks or blemishes ? Regards, Ed
10. Just awaiting delivery of the spalted maple 5 string in the centre. But check out these babies ! and my current one
11. Buy it -you know you are going to anyway You could be dead tomorrow !
12. Hi Tomi what scale is it and are there any blemishes on it at all ? Does the price include shipping to the U.K ?
13. Hi Tonci, Just waiting for my second Cazpar or I would be on this like a flash. Adrian's basses are awesome and buckeye is my favourite wood ! Good luck with the sale
14. I think its value is as a collectable, rather than being based on the quality of the pedal itself. I'll never forget having spent ages tracking one down, taking it round to burno's to put it through its paces and the expression on his face said it all when he asked me how much I had paid for it and that was at 200 quid ! I did sell it on at a small profit so if this one is new old stock it would be worth quite a bit to a collector or the pro players who can justify the expense.
15.
Cool, not tempted by a 6 string then? Bass by the way, even if you do piccolo it up...
Funnily enough I was admiring a 6 string Shuker fretless on ebay this morning .....(fortunately somebody bought it before I could check my credit limit !)
16.
Give it six months
But i've promised the missus !
17.
Nice one, what kind of spec you going for on the new one? We'll need more pics you know...
Im getting it identical in every way ! I shall post some pics of the twins as soon as I get it.
18.
Scooby has a habit of stringing his basses like that. 5 string without a low B???? Dont know what that makes me then with a 5 string piccolo !Dare I suggest a guitarist ! Filthy pervert!
19. Hi all, I've just purchased a Mensinger custom Cazpar bass built by Adrian Marusczyk and it truly is the best bass I have ever owned, so much so within the week I have ordered a second one.Adrian is based in Germany and came to bassday looking for any UK outlets for his basses which seemed very well received.Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions ? The basses truly are ridiculously good for the price.
20. Got it strung E to C and it works really well. I can't wait to get an E to C piccolo. Yes Adrian seems really cool
21. I've seen the Aspiration Elite going for 400 new and they are a steal at that price but trying to shift a used one is like trying to sell the plague.
22. No not the best song the Stone Roses ever made , I have finally found my ultimate bass ! Over the last few years I have bought a ridiculous amount of basses searching for the holy grail, lots were great(all of the Shukers), some were terrible (Tanglewood Canyon 3 )but I have finally found a cure for my GAS (if you know what I mean !) Last week whilst perusing the basses for sale section of our site I saw Scooby was selling a Mensinger Cazpar Active 5 string. I'd never heard of these instruments before, but it looked really nice so I took the plunge and picked it up for just over 700. It arrived and it blew me away. The workmanship is awesome, the balance is amazing and the variety of usable tones from it are better than anything I have ever owned(at any price) ,so much so I put a load of guitars on ebay immediately to fund a second which I am having set up as a piccolo bass. If anybody is in the market for a new instrument I would definitely recommend checking them out.The Cazpar is a short scale but there are other basses made by Adrian Maruszczyk which look equally sexy. In terms of value for money I haven't seen much to touch them especially when the trend for the well known luthiers is currently in hiking up the prices. Check them out...
