1. I'll weigh it tonight when I get in - only got a bathroom scales to do it on though.
2. I bought this bass at the end of August and it is an absolute masterpiece and by far and away the best bass I've ever owned . Unfortunately I now need the funds for a different project so need to sell so no trades please. The bass features a 33" Scale, 16mm spacing, strung E-high C with a hipshot tuner on the E The woods involved are a walnut body with a split padouk and poplar burl top. Neck is 3-piece maple with an ebony board and padouk binding. Features a Bartolini pre- with a couple of custom pickups - the bridge p/up being incorporated into a ramp design. Comes with the original Zakrzewski padded bag. The control switches are volume, pan, tone, 3 band and then active/passive switch, parallel/coilsplit/series switch for the bridge and a mid freq toggle (trim points inside too for further tweaking) The bass has just been restrung with a set of Optima golds and I have added some JIm Dunlop Straplocks and it comes with a new Levy's leather strap. Weighs approximately 8lb /just under 4kg on the bathroom scales. £2250+ P&P - Collection from Liverpool preferred but happy for you to arrange a courier at your own risk. 3. Bought Graeme's Irish bouzouki -exactly as described and perfectly packed. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with again.
4. The Mensinger Cazpars I have are certainly the best value basses I have ever bought so hopefully the bass lounge will also stock some interesting and good value for money foreign guitars as well as those from the British luthiers. When the GAS strikes and we go bass shopping it's nice to find something a bit different.
5. Just bought Pete's Zakrzewski. Excellent comms and a trouble free transaction. Hope to deal with him again (Maybe for one of those Foderas )
6. Hi Peter is it in mint condition ? How much was it new ? Regards, Ed
7. Hi, Looks gorgeous -is it a different model to this one ? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/240493-fs-kala-u-bass-solid-body-sub/page__hl__kala+sub__fromsearch__1
8. Adrian is great to deal with too !
9. Hi Tom, I'll take it. Pm'd delivery details.
10. I've just sold one, it was a lovely looking guitar and really nice to play but I thought the electrics in it were pants so my experience was also in line with everything stated above. Pick one up for cheap and get it upgraded.
11. I know , I think it is the same bass. The markings in the grain look identical
12.
I think he meat this one: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/221420202877?nav=SEARCH
13. Is it this one http://basschat.co.uk/topic/124283-sold-cort-elrick-5-sold/ doesn't seem like such a bargain now.
14. Fancied a new acoustic so I took myself down to Dawsons in Liverpool to check out the guitars. It was really quiet so I could pretty much try as many as I wanted. I had a budget of 500 so had quite a few options but ended up picking up the Talman for 209 quid and haven't put it down all weekend. Lovely thin neck with a nice low action and it looks stunning for the money. I'm far from being a great guitarist but for anybody looking for something to dabble with I'd certainly recommend it. 15. Not wishing to promote a stereotype but while inside one in Liverpool, taxis were pulling up and waiting while blokes in tracksuits tried to offload tellies ! And they only offered me 25 quid for my Indie Rickenfaker.
16. Hi Steve, Did you sell it ?
17. Hi pinball what condition is it in - any marks or blemishes ? Regards, Ed
18. Just awaiting delivery of the spalted maple 5 string in the centre. But check out these babies ! and my current one
19. Buy it -you know you are going to anyway You could be dead tomorrow !
20. Hi Tomi what scale is it and are there any blemishes on it at all ? Does the price include shipping to the U.K ?
21. Hi Tonci, Just waiting for my second Cazpar or I would be on this like a flash. Adrian's basses are awesome and buckeye is my favourite wood ! Good luck with the sale
22. I think its value is as a collectable, rather than being based on the quality of the pedal itself. I'll never forget having spent ages tracking one down, taking it round to burno's to put it through its paces and the expression on his face said it all when he asked me how much I had paid for it and that was at 200 quid ! I did sell it on at a small profit so if this one is new old stock it would be worth quite a bit to a collector or the pro players who can justify the expense.
23.
Cool, not tempted by a 6 string then? Bass by the way, even if you do piccolo it up...
Funnily enough I was admiring a 6 string Shuker fretless on ebay this morning .....(fortunately somebody bought it before I could check my credit limit !)
