Great job. Just looking at my 2 Ryders now and wondering whether to do something a bit bolder than new pickups and scratchplates !

Howard made me a couple of pickguards for my Sue Ryder basses - fitted perfectly and got them back in no time. Transactions like this are what makes basschat great !

Anybody know of a shop in the North West with a Sue Ryder in stock (not Navy.) I've phoned all of the local stores without any success. If I can track one down they may be able to transfer it to my local shop. I could drive to pick it up if it wasn't too far. Ed.

Picked one up today - flawless transluscent blue finish with a maple neck. It was unplayable out of the shop but a new set of strings and a bit of set up and it's amazing for the money. As the first post said if you'd have paid £200 you wouldn't be disappointed. Now should I buy one of the strats ??????
