2. Lodestone Primal Artist 4 String bass in Lodestone gig bag. Mint condition in Trans Maple Flame £550 This is my current main bass and is that good it outlived 3 Shukers an ACG an Overwater Progress Deluxe and a Musicman Bongo -no mean feat ! It looks absolutely gorgeous and plays like a dream with a set of La Bella Deep Talkin' on it. I'm not really playing at all at the moment so I'm selling to fund bike addiction. website blurb. Contoured for comfort, yet making a definitive style statement, the Lodestone Primal Artist Bass combines traditional and modern materials to steer bass development into an exciting new era. Carefully selected tone woods are used in construction – alder for the body, Indian rosewood for the fingerboard and hard rock maple for the slim, narrow and smooth neck, which features a 2-way adjustable truss rod. The contoured body design enables funk players unprecedented access beneath the strings for dramatic pulls, while the body cutaways combine with a sculpted neck joint to provide easy access to every fret. EMG Hyperactive pickups are used in a classic J configuration, and are amplified by Lodestone high-output, low noise active circuit, with controls provided for volume (x2), bass and treble. These are nearly £1200 new so in this condition is an absolute bargain. 8. I had a problem with vibration in my Markbass Micromark. I posted it to Alberto at Proel the Markbass distributor in London on Wednesday and it had been fixed and arrived back with me today (Friday) at no cost (the amp was out of warranty as well ) . I'm absolutely incredulous at this level of service in this day and age !
9.
Thanks for all the initial interest guys! All PM's replied to, still available.
PM'd again.
10. Hi guys, When I play through my Micromark with the volume at about a third of max, as well as the lovely bass tone I get a horrible vibration. The amp has done this from new and I've played through it very little - mainly due to this noise. Some posts I've seen have said this is just the nature of a 6 inch speaker but I think my amp is defective especially at the price they go for. I'm just about to send the amp back to Proel but don't want to incurr the cost of the courier both ways only to be told there is nothing wrong with it. Has anybody else had any experience of the Micromark who could let me know if this vibration at low frequencies is normal ? I have checked and the sound is definitely coming from the speaker and nothing is loose inside the cabinet. Regards, Ed
11. Here is my Fibenare Erotik Dalmat -mint condition. Best craftsmanship I have ever seen (And i have owned 3 Shukers an Overwater & an ACG !) 12. Now I'm over my Beatles fixation my Epiphone Viola is up for grabs. In excellent condition. I tried most of the budget violin basses when I bought this and the Epi sounded the best. Collection only from Liverpool.
13. These are really comfortable studio headphones in very good condition. Delivered for less than half the price of the new price !
14. I've got a rees telecaster and it was excellent value for money.Sounded much better than my Fender which was £200 more. It is a bit of an ugly duckling though.
15.
I'm fairly sure they do all the work at the distributors which is Proel UK, based in/around London-let Google be your friend!
Cheers Guys, I'll check them out. Ed.
16. Hi, I was going to sell my Micromark but the speaker has a vibration at high volume - it has done since new and I needes to find out if this is just par for the course as it is a 6" speaker or whether it is defective. To this end does anybody know of the nearest Markbass service centre to Liverpool ? Or have experience of the Micromark ? Ed.
17.
Hi. I am interested. Please explain the flapping problem a bit more. Is the speaker OK or do you think its damaged in some way? Cheers, Stewart
Hi Stewart, No the speaker isn't damaged - there is just a vibration at higher volume. I have just played my Italia bass through it and this only happens with the volume at 3 quarters of the maximum but happens earlier with my Lodestone with higher output pickups. I think I'll try and get it checked out by a markbass service centre as it shouldn't do this at this price. I'll relist the amp when I'm sure it is o.k. Regards, Ed.
