1. I'm GASing for an M9 and I have an EB volume pedal lying around, I see some people use it for expression with the M9? Does it work with the M9 just like that or did I get it wrong?
2. The guy that sold it to me said they were in the default position. I couldn't hear any effect like that! I ended up testing loads of settings and left it at 1/8th of a turn more on each, which is noticeable but not too annoying. More than that is too much. Can't tell from this whether it's Mk1 or 2...
3. Just got one of these used, can any owners of this pedal tell me the dafault position of the trim pots? When looking at the pedal upright it has Width at 1.5 o'clock and Speed at 3. Cheers
4. Just curious, with the M9 when you access the looper do the fx remain on? And can you change fx with the looper on? And is there any memory where you can save your loops or does it all get deleted when you exit the looper?
5. http://mwfx.co.uk/ Check these samples out, the 8 bit is my favourite: http://soundcloud.com/mwfxbass Man, if this had octave as well I'd ditch my Bass Micro Synth (don't use the filter).
6.
you could try http://www.circularlabs.com/ - Mobius has quite a strong user base, and I know a few people who are using it live and in the studio... Steve
Thanks mate, will check that out.
7.
Put it on the treble side of my board, didn't fiddle with it that much. Plus it is paid for now.
That's cool. I'm actually asking because I tried their normal Flanger for a while and didn't really work with bass at all. They've just reissued this one and because of the size it's tempting, but if it just makes the bass sound thin and weird like the other one then no good. How did you find it? Did you manage to get a nice 'jet' swirl from it, and also keep your low end?
8. Hey how did you find that flanger on bass? Have you tried it with distortion?
9. BUMP! Make me an offer.
10. I have a Memory Toy and it's great. Tried the Carbon Copy, which sounds darker but the most you can blend the fx with dry is equal volumes. In the Carbon Copy you get equal volumes at 12 o'clock, so you can still make the fx louder than the original note which sounds pretty cool!!!
11. Bump for better photos and lower price.
12. Does it come with a pedalboard all for itself?
13. Zoom Ultra Fuzz, if you can find it.
14. Diago Gigman for sale. Though the carpet still grips velcro it sometimes comes off from the base a bit when you remove pedals. It's been like that since I bought it new but you might want to reinforce the glue. You can also replace the old-looking carpet with speaker cover from car audio shops. The foam has a bit of damage and there are several scratches and small marks on the shell. With a tiny bit of work you can make it look nearly as good as new. £45 and collect from London or add a fiver for postage (I'll pay the other fiver). Thx for looking.
15. I've tried TI flats on a different fretless before and I kind of felt they became too dead-sounding a bit too quickly, though that may have been because it was also an electro-acoustic bass... I think I'll give those Status a try, actually cheaper for me because I only need medium scale size... Thanks for the advice.
16. I have my fretless Warwick Corvette still with its original Warwick roundwound strings... I'd like to change to something sounding more vintage and double-bassey but not too dead either... should I go for half-rounds? Let me know what you suggest...
17. Another Mini... Synth only used for experimentation (so far), I don' take it to rehearsals or gigs with my band... Notice the board front as band promo instrument ;-)
18.
I have a PT-Jr, a PT-2, and an NYC Lunchbox, and I STILL want that Mini. Tempted to trade the Jnr...But I know as soon as I swap it I'll need a board between the PT-2 and Mini! Can't buy outright either I'll have a think and get back to you tomorrow!
Arghh I keep changing my mind too... Just laid out my pedals again and I think I prefer to have the wah and (sometimes) synth on the side of the Mini and have to unbox and plug them every time than having 2 rows of pedals with the Jr... I'm suspending this for now and will think about it myself in the next few weeks...
19. I've decided resistance is futile: I can't live without a wah pedal on my board. Therefore I'm having to give up the portability of the awesome Pedaltrain Mini. Also, I find my Diago too heavy to carry to town in public transport, etc, so I'd like to have a Pedaltrain Jr SC and a Pedaltrain 2 SC now. So... I'll trade my mint Mini or my not-so-mint Diago for one of those, mint. Will add £££ on top if fair. Or I'll sell the Pedaltrain for £70 + postage and the Diago for £60 + postage. Can meet in London to save on postage. Preference is for trading. Pictures soon.
20. Selling this for my guitarist. here's what he says: Used but in good condition large T REX Tone Trunk 68 with velcro. The padded bag has a tear in one of the handles but is still usable and can be repaired easily enough. These retail at around £125 £75 plus postage Buyer can collect from SE London. ****PEDALS ARE NOT INCLUDED****
21. Decided to keep the volume pedal after all, but reduction on the Bass IQ, now £80 posted, last chance before going on eBay tonight.
22.
Most DAW's hav either a plug in or part of the programme for looping
I know Logic 9 has it, unfortunately Logic 8 doesn't and I wonder if I could just add that plugin... Probably not!, so there must be something out there! I tried SooperLooper, only one I could find, but can't get it to work with Logic either for some reason, get some weird error where it can't find the GUI
23. I'm considering buying an RC-50 but is there something similar in software that you can just get a foot controller to operate it with? I have Logic 8 so it could be maybe a plugin for it?
24. BUMP! Hitting the 'Bay tomorrow...
