Agreed it’s a great pedal. I think you might want to think a little further on the type of sound you want as that will necessarily impact on the type of preamp you gravitate towards. A bit tubey / dirty or super clean or somewhere in between? Tone hammer does the tube thing well, MXR DI is very clean. Both great (I’ve had and used both) in the right setting....what sort of vibe are you going for? What’s your bass / string setup?

Beautiful Ibanez single cut bought from the Bass Gallery earlier this year (https://thebassgallery.com/collections/bass/products/ibanez-srsc-805). Bought for £829 plus I had to buy a hardcase (£50). So for £850 included P&P get yourself a bargain. It's a lovely bass, super low action (I"m a real stickler for this) and plays very evenly across the whole board. I just can't get away with the slightly narrower string spacing having been a Fender man all my life hence selling. Basically you're getting a lot of bass for the money and they're not that easy to come by having only been made for a short time. Only trade I'm interested in is a Fender Jazz lined fretless. Can't add any money to the trade though so have to be straight swap or plus cash. Any Q's drop me a PM.

Agreed - I’ve never had issues with them working loose either but I don’t use them live any more so not so relevant for me. The combo pack is good value.
-
Agreed - only thing is they’re just moulded plastic so I have broken off one of the pins which is pretty frustrating given the price of them....so just be careful if they’re in and out or sockets / gig bags etc.

Ridiculous bit-crusher pedal with original box, power supply etc. In excellent condition (no scratches etc) - bit of tape on the bottom. This thing is killer, but no gigs and a need to rationalise pedal collection means it needs to go. These go for close to £300 new so this is a real bargain. Stick an 8ve pedal in front of it and BOOM! £190 incl P&P. Might consider trades or part ex's - looking for a small footprint chorus pedal. Or a decent fretless neck.

**price drop - £150 off** - BARGAIN FOR A SWEET VINTAGE INSTRUMENT For sale / for trade is my black 1978 Mustang bass. Bought it for a project that folded soon after and it's not been used since. It has a sweet action, sounds great with flats and looks the business (all wear original). Weight is 4kg. Tried to take as many pics as I could but if you want any more give me a shout. Looking for a 5 string USA Precision bass (plus a bit of cash) or perhaps something similar - the main criteria is the string spacing and needs to be passive. Ideally meet up but shipping can be arranged.

I use Google Docs spreadsheet - that way is always available whenever I am.

Yup. The result of having to sight read some truly terrible charts over the years from people who should have known a lot better!

And one of the problems of music notation is that it isn’t always hard and fast (helpfully) and there are often multiple ways to skin a cat. As @Nickthebass says either is fine as it’s a straight forward rhythm. It might come down to your notation software as to which way it comes out. Erring on the side of caution is always good. My main rule is... ”if I was sight-reading this on a gig (I.e never seen it in my life) what would be easier to read...” ...this includes not only rhythmic notation, but actual layout on the page, use of repeats, D.S’s, other structural notes, chord symbols etc etc.

Yup. This. First example is the clearest and is what you’ll get if use Sibelius or something similar. Second one is ok too but not something you see very often - beaming into the rests is extraneous information and not really needed as the rest already tells you how long it is.
