  1. Is the VT bass DI or just the pedal?
  2. There's a few on my website too (see footer). Also the bass on the Blues Brothers albums is pretty clear and an easy place to start for transcription. Enjoy.
  3. I guess not then?
  4. I'm not sure. I've gotten round this issue by having a clean boost pedal wishing the FX loop either before or after the pedals. I've had issues with: EHX Enigma Cog T16 And in both case a volume pedal before / agree has helped. Poultone do a clean boost in a tiny enclosure Southampton Devices do a dual boost and fx buffer in a tiny enclosure. I have a COG clean boost too. All excellent.
  5. Can you use this to simply phase invert a normal bass signal?
  6. Great comms throughout and despite it coming from Germany and taking a little while (not his fault!) it was ALL GOOD. Pedal exactly as described. Highly recommended. Thanks!
  7. I came to this conclusion too a few years ago with lots of gigs abroad without my own amp and gigs in the UK where they would produce Behringer (and worse!) DI boxes to plug into. My experience is that slightly smaller boxes (Aguillar Tonehammer / MXR DI / or similar) are very good build quality, fit on a pedal board and provide a sound quality which is basically as good as the U5 / REDDI. They're cheaper and more portable too (both the U5 / REDDI are an extra bag / flight case). So that's where I'd look.
  8. Still none the wiser.,so is this loop pedal which has two separate loops available? Does it have a clean straight through as well?
  9. Pics? Unsure which model this is
  10. Thanks. Am away now for a week on holiday. If it's still here when I get back I'll be in touch. Cheers. Ian
  11. Interested in the Equal buffer / boost. Could you give me a bit more info on how it functions? Thanks!
  12. Any trades at all?
  13. Another thread where everyone is probably right in their own way.... My experience: 1) When touring you have no idea what amp you may have so DI-ing from the pedal allows you to know exactly what sound you are sending. Plus you often can't tour with a rig so your own preamp / DI is vital. 2) easier and cheaper to buy a range of pre-amps for different sounds then buying new amps 3) silent pit work without an amp needs a good pre-amp/DI I've a range of pre-amp pedals for different sounds / styles and it's great. I know I'm always sending a great sound FOH whatever the situation.
  14. Super quick delivery and great comms. Pedal is great and as described. Thanks dude.
