D'addario, Dunlop and Rotosound are each used by me. But no lemon oil when I had a maple neck or two. Currently using the Rotosound Guitar polish on my Dingwall but only on the body. Clean duster for the back of the neck with a fret board cleaner only used when I change strings.

I bought this new less than a year ago to learn keys and other than getting out of the bag 5 times to toy with it remains untouched. It is in new condition and comes with the Novation bag and Rockjam Xfinity stand. I would prefer collection but will deliver within 75 miles from Buckingham if the full price is offered. I can bring this to London, the City during the week for collection too. This is a very good bit of kit, way too complicated for what I want, however. Will work with both Ableton and Logic Pro

From my click on your link the price is now £ 413 + £ 168 shipping. You are now at nearly £ 600 and prima facie this the price varies based on exchange rate. Who know what you will pay by time they debit your card. When you stick on taxes etc, Reggaebass's suggestion makes much more sense. Personally I would not take the risk, especially if there have been issues before re posting etc.

I use Procreate but also have an app called Graphic on my iPad. I have not used it much yet but it may do what you want. Certainly worth having a look at.

That’s not fair. I started at 07:15 this morning and am still not in a band! Welcome.

I probably should check with my family, although it is long drive. Hopefully I can use my Uncle’s Vanya.

You will need a hat too if Yugo there. It can get quite cold.

So, just how many basses do you own ????

You must have one hell of a large settee! I now only have three. -
Onboard bass pre-amps - what turns your EQ on?
Bobthedog replied to Al Krow's topic in Accessories and Misc
I had a john east retro deluxe in my Fender Jazz but never could get the sound I wanted; close but being a consumer tart, I moved it on (plus the bass). I have Aguilar OPB-3 in my Roscoe which I can also get close but still something is missing. I love the whole guitar too much to get rid of it, however. I now play a passive Dingwall and, for the moment (!) could not be happier. Also having a Fender P with flats which I love, I have decided I prefer passive basses (for the time being). -
There is nothing wrong with having an opinion, it is the way that the opinion is put across that generally causes the issues. It can also be dangerous to express opinions via eMail. Nuances and emphasis do not carry across on paper, unless one is a pretty hot writer. See some of the rows on BC. I am convinced a lot have only happened because of the medium used to get a view across. In short, nowt wrong with an opinion, perhaps the timing and the way it is expressed is the issue?

Not the sunshine, because according to Roy Ayres Everybody Loves the Sunshine. It can do no wrong. Oh dear, we all know it was the school caretaker and if was not for you pesky kids he would have gotten away with it.

Agreed; it is playing havoc with my ding a ling.

I started to go to BD this morning for the sole purpose of looking at the Mesa WD-800. It took several miles before I could force myself to turn back. I must have patience.....

Having just played this via my Adam Audio monitors I can safely say I could not tell any difference. Good monitors with duff ears but thank you for the comparison

Who shot the sherrif ? Well Miss Otis regrets.....

When I had four basses, I used to keep my basses on a rack but since reducing to three I have put two away. I was getting bored of having to dust / clean them. The one left out is played every day and so not so much cleaning needed.

Always wear a watch except in bed (my stopwatch measures in 100ths of a second thankfully )

Indeed and I will always respect another’s taste (unless it is a bass with wooden knobs )

I thought this could do with a refresh. A mere 8 years playing now and tonight I am just noodling away to anything from I Predict a Riot to Fly me to the Moon but am still smiling away to myself like a lunatic.

Not for me I am sorry to say. I even checked the speed as , to me it sounded as if it was playing at 75% and dragging. Each to their own. I do like the OPs posted version, however.

New Mesa Walkabout-style high powered amp WD-800....and new cabs...

I will be trying one out, however, my post above puts a possible spanner in the way. -
Two of the very best D class amps available today?
Bobthedog replied to Al Krow's topic in Amps and Cabs
Personally I would add the Glockenklang Blue Rock. The sound may be a bit modern for some, however, I have yet to see an amp that matches the build and sound quality of this one. -

An interesting dynamic for me. There is a possibility I could be moving to live in Santa Monica next year. In which case I would get the US price and warranty anyway! A meeting at the end of the month will help decide to wait or not. -
Filmed at Bass Direct if I am not mistaken (stock is Bass Direct too) My (bakers!) 3 (in no order) MTD 534-24 Roscoe Century Standard + Sadowski Satin Deluxe and Fodera Monarch Deluxe

Currently only three bass guitars but nine guitar straps. Ten if I include the Jock.
