I did a search but could not find a thread on this in the first 5 pages of the 22 page return. Paul Wolfe who has an online bass school has compiled a list of the top ten tracks from 370 playlists sent into him. The top ten tracks are:

Mustang Sally
Superstition
Twist And Shout
Green River
Bad Moon Rising
Pride And Joy
Play That Funky Music
Brown Eyed Girl
Satisfaction
Hey Joe
I make no comment but I am sure some of you will be able to.

For the last two months I have been exclusively playing my Roscoe Century V through my Glock Blue Rock into the BF Bigtwin II and can honestly say for the first time in twoish years, I have no GAS.

Freddie, I have just sold my RH750 and 2 x RS212s. Replaced by a Glockenklang Blue Rock and BF BT 2. I was never total convinced of the sound through the TCE stuff. It was not wrong but I could never escape that slightly nasal sound when using my Roscoe Century, Jazz B or Stingray. No problem with my P bass and flats, whatsoever though. I am currently extremely happy with my new rig, although the guys that bought my TCE stuff were obviously happy with their purchases too. If you wish to keep the sound you have, I do not believe the TCE will be for you (unless you can find that magic combination of buttons and knobs I could not), however, if you are prepared for a slightly different sound, I would find a set to try. In volume terms, there was no shortfall at all with the RH750 / RS212 combination. The shape of the RS212 is probably easier to shift around than the BF BT. Try some out before buying, is all I can really say.

It depends if your bladder is full. I usually have a p before playing jazz, or any genre to be fair.

Not sure I can help but I have a pair of SE535s and I used to tthink they were great until I moved up to full size cans (not for gigging, just for listening to music). My biggest complaint is getting them to fit properly. If they are not seated correctly the bass completely disappears. It always took a lot of fiddling to get a consistent fit. -
Tried to watch this - found it to be absolutely as dull as ditchwater. The whole programme seemed to be about the presenters rather than the bands - cheap, cheap broadcasting
I watched half of episode 1 last night and must confess to being disappointed in the amount of playing time. I missed the first half so may be there was more but a minute or so of the bands at the end was poor, imho.

Polytune clip on. Works perfectly for me on both of my fives' B string.
A dog that can use the internet is impressive enough, playing bass too is just the icing on the cake. I'm sure plenty will show up to see the spectacle come July Bob
. 154 people at the last count!
Where and when dear boy, would love to pop over and shout encouragement if I'm free. I'm only up the road too!
Somewhat of a cheat as it is in a private party I am giving - so a captive audience who will have to cheer me! Thank you though.
Those of us that are gigging bass players and especially those of us that do this for a living are certainly not better or more real than the "bedroom noodler". Some of the best bass players I know, don't gig and have no interest in gigging. However, as gigging bass players most of us are different with different aspirations, priorities, commitments goals and agendas. Blue
I did mean to put a smiley after the boiling head comment. It was in jest and just to reiterate that musical fun can be had in any venue
I like your attitude, making music should be enjoyable and you couldn’t have picked a better instrument to enjoy making that music on. By the way, if you like noodling, why not pay a visit to the Basschat Noodle Bar and share a noodle or several with us?
This is what I was saying, albeit in an overly effusive way. Music should be fun and how that fun is achieved is irrelevant. Don't get me wrong about the gigging, I will do so and have my first gig in July, however, that is not why I play. I am also striving to improve, hence taking the Rockschool music grades. The overarching thing is; it must be fun and for me it is. No specific thread or post has made me start this one, I just sometimes wonder if we occasionally forget it is meant to be fun.

I am on the train home and just thinking how much I enjoy playing bass. I do not have quick fingers, my tone and volume are questionable but I just love picking up a bass and noodling. I have yet to gig and will not be the next Trujillo, Sting or Pastorious but, I do not care. So for those of you who think that only gigging players are real or that you have to be able to slap or play a certain number of strings, go boil your heads. I am happy playing bass and making music. That is all.

For sale the remaining item from my TC Electronic rig - this is my RH750 amp which is in as new condition as a result of having never left the house. It comes with built in tuner, the amazing spectracomp, parametric eq and a host of other great features. Amazing tone and is loud. Currently located nr Buckingham but can bring to London during the week. I would prefer cash on collection but will deliver for petrol (within a reasonable distance!) It comes complete with manual, gig bag, power and speakon to speakon cables.
Epic rig! How's it going with the Big Twin?
It only arrived on Friday so have only an hour or two on it at the moment. Whilst reggae is not my thing, I tried your settings with my P bass with flats and some simple Bob Marley - it blew me away. Just awesome! I have tried some blues and jazz through it and again am amazed at the depth and tone of the amp and cab together. Not only does this let me hear what I am play but it really allows the tone of my Roscoe Century bass to shine through. I am still to play some rock but need to get my Stingray sorted for that (I buggered up the new strings I put on mid week). One thing that is apparent is that my RS212 was strangling the Blue Rock to my ears. The BTII just lets the amp do its thing and then with some gusto. One thing that made me laugh was playing Twenty One Pilot's Stressed Out mostly on the Roscoe B string - that was just a different level to my previous kit. Not only loud and thunderous with the sweetest tone, but I could feel it in my 12 x 14 music room! I also cannot wait for the cab to bed in. At the moment though (new cab excitement etc) I have absolutely no GAS for any more amps / cabs or basses.
Very nice review, which has given me Glock GAS. And it's quite painful... it's also of a size that would fit nicely on my One10 (horizontally) but I have to ask myself whether 600-odd watts at 8ohms may represent more headroom than I'd actually need...
Does this help?

There is now a hotel in Margate with a square of carpet missing.
Nice surprise this morning! First impressions are what a remarkable piece of gear! The horn control is really smart and its freakishly light too. Unfortunately i wont be able to try it out with the band for a couple of weeks as our drummers on tour but i have little doubt i'm going to dig it.
Snap! Mine arrived today too. Only had 5 minutes play so far but wow! The deeps are deep even my wife commented and she is not into music. There is an improvement in volume but I need to bed it in tomorrow to see if that is as real as it appears. I can't wait to get this big boy run in and warmed up. Five minutes in and already very impressed. Well made, certainly lighter than my RS212 but much bulkier. I will post a full review over the weekend. I already agree with Bearfist, though, the horn control is lovely. I picked out Stressed Out (21 Pilots) as my first chop because of the extensive use of the B string on my Roscoe and gosh can I feel it as well as hear it! Sooooo looking forward to tomorrow to put it through some thorough testing.
