1. I daisy chain my RH750 to RS210 to RS112. Seems to be the right thing based on only one speakon socket on the head unit but two on each cab.
2. The first lesson to learn when taking up bass is that the correct number of basses to own is always n+1 where n is the number you currently own. Alternatively, if you are married, the correct number is D-1 where D = divorce. So yes, in all seriousness.
3. I hope that is one too many 0s in that price?
4. I don't know, however, I used to take part in a sport which on a seasonal basis was unbelievably expensive. I remember sitting next to the wife of another participant who said to me "I cannot believe how cheap this sport is a day. At £xx per day it is very good value" The price she quoted me was approx 10% of the real cost. Her husband blatantly misled her and obviously hoped his mates would support him!
5. I have only been to one (as a punter to see what was involved before I started bass and that was a well ordered affair. When you arrived they took details of what you played and then mixed you in during the night. Seemed a good idea. I am not sure how the music was decided upon or who decided, perhaps the singer when they registered? There did not seem to be a house band although some musicians played for several tunes so perhaps there was?
6. I don't wear a wedding ring but do wear a signet ring on the left hand pinky. I have to make sure it is pushed right down on the finger when playing the P bass, but no issues on the Jazz bass. Otherwise it sometimes lightly snags on the G.
7. Great video. Seems a shame to use the iPhone 6 plus as an oil tray in front of the keyboards.
8.
How different are these to the RS range? Apart from the obvious fashionable exterior? Steve
Having just bought my RS210, that is the question I have. Are they new cabs but the same drivers? I am tempted by an RS212 to match the RS112, but this may be a problem if these replace the RS series.
9.
Deusenberg Starplayer Outlaw. Yum.
Thank you. Yum indeed.
10.
Currently thinking about stuff to sell, actually. Am trying to get back together with an old flame. In case my wife is reading this, old flame == bass.
Good recovery! Low End Bee what is that bass?
11. Strangely drawn to a Gretsch White Falcon this morning. That or a similar style in black. 2411412805_frt_wmd_001.png
12. Another thought is that our ears are all different, what sounds good tone to one person may not to another. Both are right.
13. Not quite the same but I have the RS210 atop an RS112 (running through an RH750) and the sound improvement is huge from both ear level and depth. I have not played them at gig levels yet, however, cos I am not good enough to gig, however, they work well as my practice rig!
14. I have just had D'addario Flatwounds of 55-105 put on my American standard Precision bass. They were put on by a local Luthier who did not need to make any adjustment to the truss rod. I went the route of having them installed for that very concern.
15. I think I can now join this thread: RH750 / RS210 / RS112 and Fender MIA Jazz Deluxe with John East J-Retro pre amp
16. I am very late in posting this but am only now understanding the feedback thread. I bought a G&L M2000 from Matt. A good man and will deal with again. The guitar was in great condition as described and even got me through my last but one grade exam!
17. A little late in posting this but Ady bought my Fender Rumble from me. As it was a little further for me to deliver, Ady offered me tea and a little extra for the diesel. A class act
18. I bought Graham's RS112 from him. Exactly as described. Graham also offered to meet me halfway in travel. A good guy and would easily do business again with him.
19.
Worst I've played through is a 10w line6 combo. Still got it though. It does the job for learning new tunes. But make no mistake, it's awful.
Similar answer for me: Vox Pathfinder 10w bass combo. Awful, absolutely awful, but it is my practice amp when in Scotland.
20. This seems sadly appropriate:
21. Judging by the finish on both body and head I would suggest it was a very amateur home build. If I am wrong, I would love to employ the salesman who sold them.

My Fender Jazz Deluxe USA with John East J-Retro Deluxe Pre Amp: Three stacked knobs
23. As a beginner, my 2015 ambition is to pass at least one further grade exam and sit in on at least one number with a local band at my next party.
24. For my two Fenders and G&L right angle at the bass end. It fits better with the "gig loop" through the strap. Less loopage at the guitar.
